rock moving

Post by Gro'bul »

why this was implemented don't ask me, but some halflings have let it go to their head and are now moving them to block everything, Darlok's castle entrance, the entrence to town....who knows what next. Are all halfling so strong they can lift rocks the size of themselves?

I admit to the Darlok castle thing out right. I later removed them as I realised this was gross abuse and terrible RP on my part. As for moving them about town...well...we do have a reason for this...

We were moving the rocks through the gate and it was blocked just a few minutes. To do this we have to run around the river, so it takes some time.

Also we aren't lifting the rocks...

I know you weren't lifting them, and I know that rock moving was part of something. Thank you brendan, my character wasn't strong enough to move them. And yes, I know how to move them.

What bothers me is that the GM's and creators gave some power to the players to manipulate the environment, and due to th irresponsibility with the tree's, they might have regreted that move. The tree thing was a good idea, but some people got into a "planting mood" all over the place...

I think the rock moving is bad rp. How can the smallest weakest race be able to move these rocks. And they moved them all away so i have to walk much further to mine ore.
Well, maybe i don't know the whole story but as far as i can see this is just bad rp.

i wont tell how, but havent you noticed the halfling have to move so slowly to move? And that it takes them ages to get from the swamp to the place they are going? Trust me, it isnt bad roleplay, you are just ignorant on the issue. (not ment to be an insult, just the truth.)

It is good RP, They would not tell why they move rocks, but they work in unison ((except for one female hobit who keeps showing off that she is stronger then us guys)), and it is quite funny that they keep on daring us to try it ourselves to no avail

They can as well as you could. But instead of complaining, they learned the technology. Learning does not depend on muscles but on brain, and yes, I will become furious if I will see anybody (no matter who it is, or why he does) who uses this quest-made feature again for stupid reasons like people used to do with seedlings and plantling trees.

Mostlikely the Halflings are using some kind of tools to move the rocks. If they were to say...put somthing slick under the rock so it could be pushed or pulled.

Rock moving was removed because the Evergreen Halfling Quest which it was designed for is now complete.

And because some Player thought they are allowed to abuse it.
