Three figures leave town under the cover of darkness. They travel south to a friend and his ship.
The ship sets sail, and slowly moves to the west.
"Good to see ye again, Sess'sth. And ye too Kincent. Wait, here's a new face. What be your name, friend?"
"Chuirion. Chuirion is my name."
"Good to meet ye Chuirion." Tobias says, and he walks back to his crew.
Hours pass, and there is much talk of what is to come once they reach their destination.
"So tell me why we are here."
"Kincent.... Chuirion....." Sess'sth speaks to them. "When Xelzishna took me to the afterlife to speak with me of things, she told me of a quest, the final quest. The quest to end the terror which Moden and Cloud Deathrider have reigned upon the world."
"Cloud? What does he have to do with Moden?" Kincent asks Sess'sth.
"Did you ever wonder how we met? Wonder why all three of us found eachother and are all Fire Seers?"
The others shake their heads "No."
"Fate. Purpose of being. We are all here for a reason. Cloud has come back, and he is trying to bring back Moden, his brother."
"Brother?" Kincent asks.
"Yes, that is why you are here Kincent. We met because you were once possessed by Cloud, and I was once possessed by Moden. Cloud is Moden's brother. We both must work together to destroy them both. But you Chuirion, your reason has not showed itself yet. You will have something to do before the end of this quest. Probably something important."
"What about the other Fire Seers?" Kincent asks him.
"Without them, we would not know the true power of the Seer, by teaching them, we taught ourselves. Their purpose was just to be taught, to teach us."
There is a silence as they all think for a while.
"Dark monks on the isle of Delkinom, the place we are heading, have revived Cloud. He himself is the only one without the key on my sword hilt, who can free Moden. There are Monks of the Light, on the same isle, who have tried to stop this dark work, but they have failed."
Sess'sth points to the East, and behind the ship, many ships full of soldiers follow them.
"With our help, they shall not fail."
The Last Stand of the Fire Seers

The ships crawl out of the fog, and far in the distance their destination waits under dark clouds.
"LAAAAND HOOOO!!!" Tobias shouts, and everyone moves to the front of the boat to see.... everyone but Sess'sth. He thinks to himself about some things.
"H'kinh fel'nish...." He mutters to himself, wondering what Moden screamed at him. From what he has read of the ancient evil tongues, it means something like 'They found it, he saves.'
"But what is 'it'? 'He saves' must mean Cloud will save Moden.... but what is.... 'it'? Perhaps 'it' is the thing that will bring back Moden...." Sess'sth thinks to himself.
A few hours pass and the island gets larger and larger in the distance, until finally the ship lands on an empty dock. A man cloaked in light brown waits for the first people to exit to boat, so he can greet them. The three Fire Seers walk off after Tobias.
"Greetings!" The man sounds old. He lowers his hood and looks like he is in his late forties. "Who of you are the Fire Seers?"
The Seers step forward. "We are." Kincent tells the man.
"I am Brian, lord of all the monks of the Light. We must make haste."
The four talk while they wait for the other ships to land. After about an hour all the ships have unloaded, and they all wait for orders.
"Your orders...." Brian shouts to them all, ".....are to get ready for a great battle! You know why you have come to this isle, to destroy the evil which has been to your lands, and made you suffer! To take over the fortress of the Dark Monks, the ones who worship the evil ones!"
The men talk amongst themselves and Brian nods to the Fire Seers to come to him.
"Follow these men's orders! They have some things to do once the Dark Monk Fortress is taken! Be ready by dawn in three days! By that time, we must be ready!"
The men get their things ready, and are led by monks to where they will stay.
Sess'sth looks at Brian. "You will have to show me what this fortress looks like, so we can make a good plan of how to attack."
"I am one step a head of you. I made a map of the Dark Monk Fortress. Tell me, do you need anything else right now?"
Sess'sth nods, "I will need to talk to all of your smiths and carpenters."
"Ahh yes, for the war equipment." Brian smiles. "I will take you to them."
They all walk to a small town, the last town left of the Monks of the Light. Sess'sth sees some friendly faces, from Traimus. Many warriors from there. Sess'sth sees Ratishni, the second in command General of Traimus, who became the main General. He sees Lessien, the lady that fought well for Traimus, who almost died. He sees many others, and they talk of what happened that while ago, and what is to happen in three days. Even Tobias and his crew leave the ship, and bring weapons to help fight in the great battle that is to come soon.

Chuirion walks behind Sess'sth as they all stroll through the town when suddenly Chuirion glances over and sees a beautiful elven woman. The group stops for a moment and Chuirion walks over to her and says "Hello." Chuirion asks her her name and she replies "Calamaendra is my name." Chuirion says " What a lovely name you have. Mine is Chuirion Ecflair.It is a pleasure to mee-." Chuirion's words are cut short by Kincent yelling for him to come on. Chuirion says to Calamaendra" I must leave for now.. Perhaps we will meet soon. Farewell." Chuirion walks off towards the group wondering what fate will bring him.

The group enters the city, to take all the supplies they will need.
"Here are the smiths and the carpenters." Brian tells Sess'sth as he points to many strong men, some in their forties, others are in their young twenties, some in between.
"Thank you." Sess'sth tells Brian, and Brian leaves while Sess'sth tells the workers what to do.
Brian wanders the town, and remembers the memories of their old peaceful island, where there were no walls to keep anyone out, no weapons to fight with exept bows for hunting and axes to cut wood. But this place had changed. It had all changed.
Brian looks to the north, and in the far distance a gigantic tower can be seen. A black tower. And at the very top of the tower, a tiny point sticks out.... And it looks like people are gathering all around it.
"The dark tower.... But... what is that on top of it?" Brian thinks to himself. A man in a dark cloak comes up behind Brian. He opens his mouth to speak.
"Lord Brian, me and my fellow spies have spied on their military force, and from what we have seen......" He stops.
"Yes, yes?" Brian asks.
"...... They have about triple the amount of our forces."
Brian looks at him, and thinks for a while.
"Well.... thank you....." he tells the spy and wonders what they should do. He walks back to the others to tell them.

Kincent polishes Surion as he walks slowly behind the others. He notice Chuirion walk off and only looks up long enough to tell him to hurry up. By the time they enter the town Kincent is to deep in though to pay any mind to the others around him. He makes his way to the tavern........
Kincent sits in the darkest nook of the tavern a pint of ale siting on the old table beside him, but Kincent thoughts aren’t on ale nor the battle ahead of him......His lips move but only a low mumble can be heard “I didn’t even leave her a no....” the mumble fades back in to the darkness of the corner.
Suddenly the tavern to opens and a figure in orange clock walks in.........

".....And thats what you do! Hurry up and make them!" Sess'sth tells the smiths and the carpenters as Brian walks in.
"Sess'sth...." Brian tells him, "Our spies..... they have been in enemy territory. From what they have seen....." He hesitates. "From what they have seen, the enemy army is three times larger than ours...."
Sess'sth looks at Brian and thinks for a while.
"Then we must take a little longer to prepare for this." Sess'sth tells Brian, "I have just spoken to the carpenters and the smiths. They are starting their work, so in a few days we will be ready for the seige."
The two discuss their war plans for a while, and a man comes in the door and marches towards them.
"Lord Brian, our spies have seen a large force of goblins approaching the city. They are about a day's march away." he tells them.
Brian and Sess'sth look at the man.
"Goblins?!" Brian asks the man.
"Yes, sir, goblins."
"That means.... that Moden's worshipers know he is here.... which means he is here! They have resurrected him!!" Brian tells Sess'sth.
Sess'sth suddenly feels a surge of power. He feels angry. Sess'sth starts to walk outside to tell everyone and he says to them as he leaves, "Then let us get ready to fight them! Let the slaves of Moden feel pain once more!"

The figure in the orange cloak is Lessien, and she notices a firmilliar man hiding in the darkness. She slowly walks over to him, and he looks up at when she reaches the table.

"Sometime after this journey, thats all I know." Kincent replies.
"Hey, maybe I could go back with you and see your wedding!" Lessien smiles at Kincent.
"Yeah, that would be ni-" Kincent is interrupted by Sess'sth who appears from nowhere.
"Kincent, a battle is starting sometime tonight! Goblins are coming!"
"Goblins? Just like last time...." Kincent remembers the last journey they went on together.
"Come on! We must get everyone ready!" Sess'sth brings him back to reality.
"I'm coming too!" Lessien follows them out the door.

Chuirion continues to wander around the town pausing to look at things in this new place. Someone taps him on the shoulder. Chuirion looks around. "Greetings Calamaendra! Lovely to see you again." Calamaendra says "Good to see you as well Chuirion... So.. why are you here? I have never seen you around here before." Chuirion says " Well..I am here with my friends/fellow guild member and leader. We are here to help destroy the enemies... " Calamaendra says "Oh... I wish you the best of luck." Chuirion says "Thank you." "Chuirion!! Come on! Sess'sth calls. "I apologise Calamaendra but I must leave... Perhaps we will meet again soon.. Goodbye...

Tall wooden walls surround the city, and on the walls stand men, most of which have bows and swords. In the distance torches can be seen, and horns of war can be heard. Some flags stick out of the lines and lines of heads, strange markings written on the flags.
The enemy army is about three quarters of the army of the Monks of the Light. Sess'sth hears many voices of people. He looks to his left and sees an eight year old child, who back up to Sess'sth.
"Sir, do you think we will win?" The young boy asks.
"Yes, we will win. Their army is small."
"Will I... Will I get hurt?"
Sess'sth looks at the boy, he is scared.
"Not if you stay close to me." Sess'sth smiles at the boy, giving him hope.
The army gains speed as their march becomes a sprint.
"ARROWS READY!" Brian can be heard in the distance. Bows are loaded with arrows and each person takes a target. Sess'sth looks over at the young boy next to him one last time before the battle.
"RELEASE ARROWS!" Brian yells, and arrows fly into the bodies of the goblins who are still far away.
The battle begins.

Before Kincent leaves the tavern he grabs Surion and then reaches in to the fire place and pulls out a small flame.
Kincent arrives at the gate right after the first wave of arrows where sent flying in to the chest of the goblins below. He quickly makes the flame grow and use it to set the tips of people arrows a light......
"Arrows ready!" Brain yells.
"Fire!" Brain screams as a few 100 bruning arrows fly in to the sky making the sky appear to be a light.Kincent eyes the arrows until they almost hit the ground then he closes his eyes and pictures the fire explodes and the fire engulfs the ground Goblins scream as the fire burns the amour to their skin.

Out of the flames, 400 goblins appear, each with crossbows. They are the last warriors of their army left. More than nine tenths of the rest of them burnt in the flames.
"Is this it?" Brian asks himself outloud. He sees the crossbow armed goblins arise from the flames and bolts fly above the walls, and kill some fifty soldiers.
"Duck!" Sess'sth shouts to the young child next to him. A few bolts fly past them as they duck down.
"Dont worry son." Sess'sth tells the kid, "They are almost all gone already!"
"Thanks sir for helping me." The young child looks at the red lizard.
"Fire!!"
Only one hundred goblins remain, and they run like cowards, but in their stupidity they jump into the flames and are burnt or melted to death.
"Victory!!" The warriors raise their weapons and celebrate. Sess'sth looks at them and wonders why they are celebrating for winning such an easy battle. He finds Brian, Chuirion and Kincent. Sess'sth walks up to the three of them.
"Is that it?" Sess'sth asks.
"Yes, they are defeated!" Brian replies.
"Hmmmm, I think we should be off to the enemy fortress before any more come." Kincent tells them.
"Leave? So soon? But first I want to talk to-" Chuirion thinks of the elven lady he met a while ago but is cut short by Sess'sth.
"Lets go tomarrow. I need another day to get the smiths and carpenters ready." Sess'sth looks around and notices the men that have gathered around them.
"Then it is set, we shall leave tomarrow for the fortress of the Dark Monks." Brian tells the crowd.
"B-b-but my lord! We are victorious! Dont you think we should celebrate tonight and leave in a couple more days?" a young man asks.
"We have won such a small battle. Why must we celebrate? We must win this war before more of those pesky goblins arrive." Brian replies.
The crowd splits up and everyone gets ready for bed, they will travel for days to get to this fortress, so they must get their rest.

The next day the gate opens, and out of the city come many men and women of all ages. Some are fighters, some are workers, some are hospital workers. The city is almost emptied. The long march to the Dark Monk Fortress finally begins.
The army marches for hours and hours until it is too dark to see, and the moon is hidden behind clouds. Fires are started and camps are made.
"What are the plans?" Brian asks.
"I am still figuring them out. The cliffs at the root of the fortress make this hard. We will need a faster way to get up the cliffs besides the ramp at the edge. If not, we will all be shot before we get close enough." Sess'sth answers.
"We need some sort of shielding from the arrow fire as we get up to the walls" Kincent tells them.
"Yeah, and some way to climb up the cliffs easily" Chuirion tells them and thinks of what they could do.
"Some sort of... lever maybe, to get us up there?" Ratishni wonders allowed.
"Yes.... we need shielding from arrow fire and a lever of some sort to get us up to the walls, and we still need ladders to climb the walls. Hmmm, and maybe some way to break the gate, a ram perhaps?" Brian tells the group and thinks.
"Maybe ye could make all of those combine? Make the way to climb the cliffs a shield of some sort, and maybe make it able to climb walls..... and we need rams, but I do not know how rams will give us shielding or let us climb cliffs or walls.... Perhaps the rams will be seperate." Tobias tells the other five.
The six men think as they look into a campfire.

The next day the warriors and workers awaken, and continue their travels for a few hours, then stop to eat and work on weapons and armors. and other things.
"I've got it!" Sess'sth exclaims, "I know what we can build, but they will take a LONG time!"
"What? What is it?" Brian asks him eagerly.
"It's hard to explain, let me draw what they would look like." Sess'sth uses his finger to draw in the dirt. He draws a big shield, then long chains connected to a sort of anchor, then he draws a giant bow type of thing. ((Almost like a balista))
"Ummm.... What do they do?" Chuirion asks Sess'sth.
"See, the big shield things are made of wood, and they will protect us from arrow fire. They will be carried in front of our armies until we get close to the cliffs in front of the walls. Once we get up to the cliffs, we fire those anchors on top of the walls, and then we attach the shields to the chains. Once they are attached, there will be a small wooden ledge that our men can stand on, as the shields are carried up to the walls.... sort of like a pulley. Then once the shields are at the top of the walls, our men will jump onto the walls and attack. Once we secure the area around the gate, we will open the gate and allow all of our other soldiers to enter. We will also build a battering ram to ram into the gates in case we can't secure the gate area."
"Sounds kind of complicated...." Kincent tells him.
"It's not that complicated." Sess'sth tells him, "Here let me show you better blueprints."
Sess'sth draws more blueprints in the dirt and people gather around to see what he is doing.
"I've got it!" Sess'sth exclaims, "I know what we can build, but they will take a LONG time!"
"What? What is it?" Brian asks him eagerly.

As people begin to gather around Kincent gets up and sneaks off a little was from the camp, He looks around and see a old tree, Kincent draws Surion and jumps at the tree cutting it down in one slice he then chops the wood for a fire and makes a small camp fire.
"Good I got some training done and got the fire I needed"
Kincent sits by the fire and puts his back to a tree.Kincent reachs in to a bag and pulls out a small potion which he has held closely to him since the day Cloud killed all the people on the fire seer isle.
"This a few books and my small bit of knowledge is all that is left of the true fire seers,for the books are hidden somewhere in trollsbane and this potion is with me, but there still one last link hids in the darknessCloud Deathrider.Once I kill him my mission will be done I'll leave the clan in the hands of someone else and spend the rest of my life with Kyra.
Kincent smiles at this thought and knowing that soon the Fire Seers will be put to rest and only the new age of seers will be left, A age with out the pure darkness that his fire seers had.

"The true reason Cloud was inside of me is becuase my mother was part of the Fire Seers I belive and pratice in, and my Father was a Fire Seer of Moshran a clut devoted to the Bone-lord and his evil did his biding,
becuase of that forbiden love there where two sides of me born, Kincent the path of Light and Cloud the path of Moshran, some what like twins sharing a body........ack I've already gotten my self confused just try to figure out the truth."
Kincent chooses to let the fire figure it out for him so he returns to looking deeply in to the fire and drawing all the knowledge he can form it.
A few hours later Kincent hears foot steps he looks around and sees a figure stand in the shadows and hidden in a cloak.
"Hello Kincent.......

The red lizard walks about the workers a few hours later and tells them exactly what to make. He walks away from them and sees that the crowd around his plans have moved away, and Kincent is nowhere to be seen..... neither is Lessien. Sess'sth doesnt seem to care, so he walks up to Brian.
"Get them ready to leave soon, we have a long way to go still." Sess'sth tells Brian.
"Okay, in a little while we will."

Chuirion continues to wander around the camp looking for faces that he knows. He suddenly sees an elven woman. "Calamaendra?" He says. The elven woman turns around "Chuirion! I have been looking for you!!. I felt the need to go and fight for my town.." Chuirion and Calamaendra continue to talk about what lies ahead.

Kincent looks up form the fire and slowly moves his hand over the hilt pf Surion .He hears some lean on the tree beside him and jumps up stopping the blade right at the throat of lessien.
‘Well that’s a nice why to treat a woman.”
“Lessien! I’m sorry.”Kincent says with a shocked look
“I was deep in though and you scared me..”
“Don’t worry I knew you wouldn’t hurt me.”
Lessien and leans on the tree, and looks at the fire as Kincent sheaths surion and sits down beside her.
“What the hell are you doing out here Kinny.”
“Just watch the fire...something isn’t right about this isle.”
“What’s not right?”
‘I don’t know, the fire isn't burning bright.”
‘Wha? Kincent are you out of your mind.”
“No it’s a fire Seers thing, something is defiantly wrong lessien.”
Lessien jumps a little and gets a shocked look on her face,as if a sharp object brought her back to to reality.

Sess'sth senses something. He does not know what, but he feels it. He looks for Kincent to see if he might know what is happening, but Kincent is nowhere to be seen. Suddenly something tells Sess'sth to begin the march. He moves to the front lines of the standing soldiers waiting for commands, and he sees Brian.
"Let's go now." Sess'sth tells Brian. He looks for Kincent again, but sees nothing. The army begins marching, but fairly slowly as Sess'sth triest to wait for Kincent, fighting his urge to march forward.
The army marches into an ancient forest, full of giant trees, which seem to have never been in the presence of any other living things but themselves. Something calls to Sess'sth from there.
"Let's go now." Sess'sth tells Brian. He looks for Kincent again, but sees nothing. The army begins marching, but fairly slowly as Sess'sth triest to wait for Kincent, fighting his urge to march forward.

The figure doges to the left, and right as Surion hits the ground leave a nice size dent in the earth.
“Well someones not happy to see me .”
“You basterd!”
Kincent Pulls he’s sword form the ground and runs towards the cloaked figure, inturn the man drasw he’s blade and quickly blows Kincent’s blow, when the blades of the two swords met black and white flames fly like spars through the air and die before the hit the ground Kincent and the Man both jump back and pause for a second.
“I see Surion has met it’s bother Furion.”
“Wha ?.. What the hell?.”
The figure drops he’s cloak and steps forward in to the light provided by the fire.
“Cloud!”
“Yes Kincent, it’s me in the flesh.”
“But I sent you to hell long ago you basterd”
“Ah see you did, but I had some things to do, and seeing how our father severed the bone lord he let me back out when the time came.”
“Our father, you mean MY FATHER.”
“No you see where are more of bothers than what you want to belive we are.”
Kincent lowers Surion and looks at Cloud.”
“That sword?”
“You mean Furion, the twin blade of Surion, There’s a history behind these two, do you think that Salathe gave you that blade for a reason. No! It was ment to fall in your hands, as Furion was ment to come in to mine.”
“How are the connected to us.”
“You have to find that out on your own Time!” Cloud says as he runs forward.
Kincent quickly pulls Surion up trying to block Cloud and as he does the blades once again met and the black and white flames fly like sparks. Kincent slashes at Clouds chest and quickly Cloud jumps back barely missing the blade, Cloud jumps back and looks at the slashes in his red amour which bears the same mark as as Furion a man holding a Black Flame.
“My best amour and Surion cut through it like nothing..Lets see if Furion can do the same!”
Cloud lunges at Kincent and staps his shoulder.
“Damn IT!”
Kincent looks at the blade running through his shoulder. He looks over at the fire and pulls a flame to his hand. Cloud notices Kincent try a sneak attack with the flame and pulls one two his hand.
“Well well, I guess it work went through you like nothing”
“You..stupid basterd....DIE!”
Kincent makes the flame grow in too a fire ball like he has done many times before but this times it’s different he puts he’s heart and soul in too the flame as well and ir turns white.
“Ah so you finally found out the true power !”
Cloud does the same and the flame turns Black
“You won’t like this when this flame hits you you’ll feel more pain and torment then you have ever felt in your life little Brother.”
“Shut up and go to hell!”
Kincent throws the fire pall as hard as he can, and Cloud does the same. Kincent ball hits Cloud and burst in to flames around Clouds body Cloud falls back word and hits the ground. Then Kincent notices the ball come at him and rolls away just in time for the the ball to fly by and hit a tree, the tree burst in a black flame and no sooner then it hit the tree becomes nothing more than ashes and the flame dies. Kincent looks over to where Cloud fell but his body is no where to be seen.
“Damn....Lessien.”

The army wanders the strange forest, through trees, nature-made pathways, and rivers. The march started late, so it is already almost dark, so camp is made. Everyone stops to rest. Sess'sth hears something. A voice.
"Cooommee...... coooommeee tooo usssss..... " it says in his mind. Sess'sth knows that some part of his fate lies there, so he must follow it. He finds Brian.
"Brian...." Sess'sth finds Brian making his tent by a large tree.
"Yes?"
"I am going to..... to wander a bit. It may take a while..... Don't ask me where I am going, for I do not know. But.... if I do not come back before dawn, start the march to the fortress without me. From my measurements, the fortress is not far."
Brian looks at him strangely, but does not answer.
"And..... and if you do reach the fortress before I arrive...." Sess'sth hesitates. "...Then start the siege without me. And look for Kincent! He is around here somewhere. But..... if I do return before the battle, do not expect me to come alone...." Sess'sth did not really know what he was saying, but somehow he knew what was going to happen. He departed into the forest without another word.
Hours and hours passed as he travelled deeper and deeper into the forest. Sess'sth could sense that he was close. All of a sudden, something right behind him lit up. He looked around, but the light moved as he turned. In the corner of his eye, he could see the light. He reached behind his head, and found his halberd, which he had forgotten about, since he had used no weapon this whole journey. The top of his halberd, the sharpest edge above the main blade itself, which was made from his old family's dagger, was glowing! And in the distance..... he could see..... another light! Many lights! Sess'sth started moving in the direction of the lights, his pace becoming a light sprint.
Sess'sth finally escaped the forest, and he could see a magnificent sight in front of him.
In the short distance, Sess'sth could see a great mountain, it had emerged from a fairly giant lake, which was made from a waterfall to the north, that just barely extended out of the forest. The lake, on the eastern edge, had become smaller and thinner, until it came into a river, which lead into the forest. And to the mountain, a long path barely above water could be seen, and this path lead to a cave at the very bottom of the mountain, where it met the water. And in the cave were the lights which Sess'sth had been following. He started running to the cave. Sess'sth crossed the thin strip of land just above the water to the cave, and he could see the tip of his halberd glowing more and more as he got closer and closer. Something big was going to happen!
Sess'sth entered the cave, and he could see nothing but darkness in front of him. The lights had disappeared, but his halberd still glowed. He took a step forward and was flung towards the floor as he slipped on wet moss. Sess'sth began to slide downward, and discovered that he was moving forward as well. He slid down the steep moss path deeper and deeper into the darkness. The further he slid, the steeper it got, until he was sliding straight down, and then he was falling and not even sliding on anything at all. He landed in a shallow puddle in a dark room. Sess'sth looked around, but could see nothing. All is quiet until a voice breaks the silence.
"Sess'sth. You have comesss to us finally. Welcomessss."

Calamaendra and Chuirion wander through the camp. "Hmm.. I wonder where Sess'sth and Kincent are.." Chuirion wonders. Chuirion continues to walk around the camp with Calamaendra looking for them.

Maktan Hardtooth curses the cold and rain and the movement of the waves as he remember his past events:
Maktan was curious why kincent and some of the fire seers dissapeared without a clue. He asked around but no one noticed anything. One day he asked an old elf near the docks about the description of kincent. "Hmmm.... I think I saw him with a few others, they went on a great ship," said the old man. Maktan then excitedly said, "Where to?". "I don't know sir," he said. "well fine then,"Maktan said. Maktan thinks -over the sea?! And they didn't tell me anything?? well Kincent must of forgotten that I am a mage- Maktan gets out a ruby hanging on a golden chain. "Ruby search the flame I seek, search for kincent, lead me to his flame." the ruby lifts and tugs his chain in Kincents direction. -Ah! so he did cross the sea! well then!- As maktan finishes his thought he goes in search of a lumberjack and a couple carpenters. Days pass by and what he saw in the end was a nice small vessel that can be steered by a single person. "Yes it is perfect!". The carpenters walk up to maktan and raise their hand expectantly. "Ah yes... yur money, 2 ingots for the each of you." Maktan gets on his vessel and takes out his ruby. -kincent I know where you are...-
And know here is maktan, in the middle of the sea, traveling for what seems forever, -damn them! They knew my curiosity will take me over!- Maktan tries in vain to summon food once more with his magic, but he is too far from land. Days and nights follow each other and maktan lost track of what day it is, Maktan Is now suffering from fever and is delirious, dreaming of monster coming to eat him. He casts fireballs in random locations, hitting only his imagination. In the end he goes off too unconsciousness. one morning he wakes up, dieng of thirst. He is thinking of the irony that he is suffering from thirst but sorrounded by undrinkable water. In the far distacnce he see's an island or is it a continent, Maktan can't tell, all he can tell is that the ruby is pointing in that direction. He sees some movement on the beach, he tried yelling, but his dry throat won't let him, before he passes out he casts a single firball into the sky, filling the sky above him with a bright flare of light.

Days pass by and what he saw in the end was a nice small vessel that can be steered by a single person. "Yes it is perfect!". The carpenters walk up to maktan and raise their hand expectantly. "Ah yes... yur money, 2 ingots for the each of you." Maktan gets on his vessel and takes out his ruby. -kincent I know where you are...-
And know here is maktan, in the middle of the sea, traveling for what seems forever, -damn them! They knew my curiosity will take me over!- Maktan tries in vain to summon food once more with his magic, but he is too far from land. Days and nights follow each other and maktan lost track of what day it is, Maktan Is now suffering from fever and is delirious, dreaming of monster coming to eat him. He casts fireballs in random locations, hitting only his imagination. In the end he goes off too unconsciousness. one morning he wakes up, dieng of thirst. He is thinking of the irony that he is suffering from thirst but sorrounded by undrinkable water. In the far distacnce he see's an island or is it a continent, Maktan can't tell, all he can tell is that the ruby is pointing in that direction. He sees some movement on the beach, he tried yelling, but his dry throat won't let him, before he passes out he casts a single firball into the sky, filling the sky above him with a bright flare of light.

Maktan woke up in a small cage. He looked around and saw a very young girl, at the most fourteen. On the ground lay a bear fur. outside the bars he see's a giant ogre and a goblin having a conversation. Maktan couldn't understand, so he got out and put on his silver ring. "I tell ya! I am a genius! I will prove those other goblins that Humans can be domesticated! We will have many food to eat and never starve! isn't that smart grog?," said the goblin. Grog the ogre asked "Me no get why we can't eat them now, me like crunching on hard bone. why can't we eat Jord?" Jord the goblin then remarked after a sigh, "ok stupid ogre, I'll make it simple, 'we not eat them now, we will have lots more later, this two will make many, and their many makes many more, we eat some, and sell rest to rest of goblins, understand?" Grog thinks that Jord is always right so he says, "yes Jord,but..." Grog twiddles his thumbs together "can I play with them?" Jord laughs, "Oh sure, and I won't see our prisoners again." "I am a good ogre jord, Yep I am a good ogre, just let me play with them jord, please?" the ogre said. "Well... why not? just don't hurt them, they will give us lots of money,"Jord gets up and goes to the cage. "I won't hurt them Jord, I promise." Suddenly Jord esclaims, "Grog! the little guy is gone!" Jord opens the gate with Grog following behind. The little girl wakes up, face very pale as she tries to figure what is going on. The bear rug suddenly jums up as if alive! Jord stumbles back, while Grog swats the rug in surprise, using his humongous and deadly fist. The rug went flying, revealing maktan under the Ogre's fist. Maktan put is palm on The ogres chest as he mutter some words. A flash! and the ogre was knocked back by the fireball. Before any of those two can get any sense of wha tis going on, Maktan ran through the gate and reached his bag. The angry Grog, stood at his full height of 11 feet, and charged Maktan. Maktan succeded at getting one of his dwarven axes out, he swung at the Ogre's head, and of all things, Grog caught the blade! "You hurt grog, now grog smash and bash! Me smash human!" Maktan angrily yealls back, "I am no human! I am a dwarf!" While Grog was thinking over what the hell is a dwarf, Maktan pulls back his axe and slams at his chest. Even though the powerful axe hit him in the head and knocked him onto the floor unconscious, his head was still intact. "Wow, the true meaning of thick headed", Maktan's grin the fadedd as he felt something sharp poke his back."You tough if you beaten Grog but you can't dodge a dagger poking your back, eh human? and don't start with that dwarf story of yours, everyone knoes around here that there is no such thing as dwarves anymore around here. now get back in your cage, you lost your food for two days, now move n...." Jord didn't finish as a stone bang his head. Maktan turns around to see the girl standing there panting heavily. "thanks you", said maktan, "but we better hurry out of here." After rumming for several hours, Maktan and the girl took a rest. "I am manda, and thank you so much!". Maktan grins,"and thank you too, for getting rid of that goblin. By the way, I am Maktan." Then the girl remembers something, "are you a magician or something? I saw fire come out of your hands!" Maktan then laughs, "I am properly called a mage, and I can do much poor then sending out a fire", Maktan summons an apple and snatches it as it appears, "you look hungry, wan't an apple?" "oh! wow, yes thank you." after a long conversation, Manda went to sleep. Maktan took out his ruby and notice the pull is a lot stronger! maybe about half a days journey! Maktan stacks a pile of apples by Mandy and a single rose, then Maktan sneeks off into the woods. As soon as he is a little distance from mandy, he starts running. -Sorry Mandy- Maktan thought regretgully. As maktan runs through the forest, a traveler might see his shadow following a dim red light, in the future, there would be wild stories of a ghost chasing a rare red fairy. -Kincent I am coming, for Maktan is here...-

In the darkness of the cave Sess'sth stands up and asks, "Who are you?"
There is silence. After a while a voice is heard. "Do you notsss remember ussss?"
And with that answer, lights spring from nowhere as torches have been lit, revealing many things. Many lizardmen stand in front of him. But these were no ordinary lizardmen. They were red like Sess'sth! Sess'sth looks at them strangely.
"Remember you? I have come to you finally?" Sess'sth asks confused.
"Sess'sth," one of the largest and wisest lizards steps forward and answers, " Like the prophecy states, you know nothing of the past. We shall tell you.
A day long ago, there was a great battle. A battle between the two Fire Seer Clans. The Fire Seers of the Light, the ones who did not worship Moshran, discovered that they could communicate with Dragons by using fire. During the battle, they had the Dragons fly above them and rain fireballs upon the enemy as the two clans fought. The Fire Seers of the Light, with the help of the Dragons, had won the battle. The Dark Fire Seers fled to a hidden cave somewhere on the edge of the Fire Seer isle after this. Since then, there has been a sort of.... alliance between the Fire Seers of the Light and the Dragons."
"But what does that have to do with me coming here?" Sess'sth asks.
"After the battle was over, the Dragons came here, to the very mountain we are inside right now, and they lived here. There was a tribe of warrior Lizardmen that lived in the waters below the mountain. The Dragons and the Lizardmen were friendly to each other, and some of them even mated together. The Queen of the tribe, your mother, mated with the leader of the Dragons, and you were born. All of us had parents like yours, one of each race."
"But... but why was I supposed to come here?"
"Both of your parents were leaders. You were meant to come here and lead us to war. The dark monks which have come to this island worship Moshran, like the Dark Fire Seers. They are led by two evils. They are both sons of Moshran, one has the power to summon great armies from the under realm, Moden, the other is a great Dark Fire Seer, Cloud. Together, they will create an unstoppable army of Dark Fire Seers, which they probably plan to rule all beings with. We must stop this at once." The wise lizard looks into Sess'sth's eyes. "You must lead us to victory, Sess'sth. It is part of your destiny."
"H-how did I get separated from my family?" Sess'sth asks the wise lizard.
"A little while after you were born, you fell into a river with a fast current. It took you into the sea. We could not find you, but we knew you would live, and someday come back to us."
"Then a while later I found a lizard city under the ocean, and I grew up there." Sess'sth tells them. "Then one day I decided to come to the surface and I found Trollsbane. There I found the Kincent, leader of the Fire Seers...... So this was all fate, all destiny." Sess'th smiles.
"Masssssster," one of the other lizards speaks to the wise old lizard, "We musssst show him-"
"Ahhh, yes. I know." the wise lizard interrupts him, "Sess'sth, follow me."
The wise lizard lead Sess'sth and the other red lizardmen up many stairs.

Kincent walks slowly through the night, still carry the body of lessien in his armys blood slowly flowing from his shoulder and the blood form lessien stains his clothes, kincent only stops becuase of the pain.....
Kincent looks up and sees night slow fading in to early morning as the sun rises he walks on try to catch up to the others......

Kincent walks on till late morning the pain of his shoulder grows worse with every step, finally he can't take the pain and passes out.
Some odd hours later he wakes to the noise of some one coming he doesn't have the strenght to call for help if it friend,and hasn't the strenght to fight if foe.Kincent lays there helpless lessien body still in his arms as the person comes closer.
"Greetings, are you alright?"
"No i'm in a little bit of pain at the moment thanks.."
"Don't worrie you'll be fine now." the man hands him a potion "Drink this it will help you Kincent."
"How do you know my name?"
"That's not inmporant right now...now come I'll take you to camp."
Kincent wakes later in a small tent at the camp he trys to lean forward but the burning pain of his shoulders forces him to lay back down.
"Aw your awake."
"yes but where is that man who brought me back here."
"Sir are you alright? The was no man we found you a few feet out side the camp."
"what!?!
"Some one give me something to write with and a scroll"

Maktan ran until morning. The ruby starts glowing with an extreme brightness, but instead of red, it is white. Maktan was too tired to consider this unusual change. Maktan lay down to rest, hoping that this day will be the day he gets his answers. Maktan drifts to sleep filled with questions. Snap! A branch breaks in the distance. Maktan is startled awake, but his muscles are too sore to allow him to move. He just sits and wait to see what horror has come now.
He sees a young man come out of the forest, and Maktan watches the lad move along a trail he did not notice. Maktan slowly gets up, fighting his tiresome muscles, and follows the lad until he sees a camp full of warriors. Maktan wanders cautiously around the camp in shadows and he sees a tent, and slowly walks up to the entrance of it. Maktan peers inside the tent and sees a man laying down. He realises who it is and cries out a single word, "Kincent!"

Kincent hears somebody say his name and he looks up form the book he is writing in.He see that it is maktan and grins as he close the book ans sets in on the table beside him
"Ha I knew you'd have more of a part in this than Sess said."
Kincent but's on a smile and hides his fears,the things his been see in the fire, and the pain in his shoulder, when suddenly he rembers Lessien.Kincent faces changes from a smile to a look of shock!.
"Where is she!"
