I haven't been playing as often as I would have wanted to, but anyway ... here's the question again:
Is the speed of movement restricted by armour?

I think its restricted only by weight. So the heavier the armor the slower you go.

id think so it seems when ever i just wear armor and have no items in my bag i still seem slower
