Starting my first account

Greetings!

I'm new at the game of Illarion, and was looking for some help and advice on my account

This is what I have done:

Downloaded the program
Ran it, clicked "Create new"
Specified various statistics, and named the Character Mashadari
Clicked Ok

Now, I assume that clicking Ok sent my info away. Subsequently, I received no reply, so I assume that my account was rejected on namelock reasons (As stated in the rules) I didn't intentionally make an illegal/innapropriate name, but I assume that it was because I didn't specify a surname.

Because of that, I have subsequently made a new Character in that window, named Mashadari Farthyn (Elf).

What I want to know is, is this te method to apply a characters name, and get it sent to be approved? Or do I have to do something else?

Your name seems fine to me!

Actually, it is an awesome name. You should be accepted. On the right frame on the main site there is a link. "Account Request"

Fill that out, it asks for your character name (that you created with the client), your email, and the password that was used when creating your character (again, in the client). When you are finished, the process will take on average a week or more. Be patient, the account requests are handled by actual human beings, and it takes time.

Well, the good news is my name got accepted.... I got the reply message with the two things to do...

Pity about the second task... I'm not good at the type that was given to me.... Hopefully I get through......

(Note: I dont know how much I'm allowed to say of what happens in the process)

If I gewt accepted, I get one more email then after a few days I can log in, correct?

Yep, if your story is good enough, then they will send you a secodn reply saying your accepted, if its not then they send one saying your NOT accepted. Anyway, on a happier note, I was accepted today!!! Hurrrraaaayyy! My first try too. Anyway, I will see you all ingame as soon as they activate my character. *does a little skip-hop* Anyway, look forward to seeing you all =)
