trees disappearing

trees disappearing
why do the trees disappear when i cut them down. i don't mean a little bit. when i cut a fir tree down it disappears completely. also some of the trees have been changed from apple trees to useless cherry trees. it is becoming harder and harder to be a carpenter because of the tree situation. When we started this round the forests were full of trees and now they are almost empty.
