I noticed while trying to sell baked goods, that is almost impossible to sell them at a good price and make a profit. One of the reasons for this is that all baked goods are sold at the shop, this damges bakers wealth, due to the fact that they can't sell any goods for over 10 gold. Therefore i propose that cakes and bread should not be sold at the shop by an npc. As a result of this more people will want to become bakers which will decrease the number of Carpenters and blackmiths.
Of course ideally, the NPC's wouldnt exist, thus meaning that if ANY trade was needed it would HAVE to be player to player. Now theres an economy you can go places with.
If there weren't any NPC's that would mean that no new gold could be generated, and with more and more people coming, we'd soon run out. This would be, however, quite interesting, wouldn't it?
normaly only Governments are produzing coins. So we should make it by our own i think a Silverbrand Goldcoin could be possible or an Lyrenzia Goldcoin and an Northerot Goldcoin.
i must say i like the idea of an own currency system.
With the ability to make coins, could come the ability to forge them.
I like the idea of being able to make my own money from lead and a thin gold layer.
You'll have to buy them from someone who can grow more than they plant. Even if the NPCs were to dissapear, there would still be new money; some monsters drop it.
