farming

Post by Glorat »

ok, i realise this is something that people kepe telling me to figure out myself.
all i want to do is "learn the combination of keys"
to the older players it should be realised how frustrating it is to have to figure out the most complicatted of ations to form the most basic task. irl i could easily figure out to plow the feild, plant, and water, and wait.

in fact, this goes for ALL skills. it should be courtesy just for the new player to know that by threading a needle into a cloth he can make a shirt or something, not for someone to figure it out themselfs.

to the main point. i just want to know the basic idea of farming.
(eg in tailoring you have, get a needle, thread, and raw material. youse the needle with the raw material.)

oh well. ack to point. how can i grow something?

Depends on what you want to grow, for the normal grain and cabbage you just use the grain or cabbage seed with the farmland.

No matter how you put it it would be an ig matter. Just because I give you something doesnt mean you instantly know what it is, how to use it, and what to use it on. If you know nothing about farming - which your character doesnt at the outset - you could not recognise a plow anyway. Ask in game. Or even better, get an apprenticeship...

Its not fully a InGame Matter, because a technical part has been changed.

But you will notice with the first look where you can farm.

For Key-Combinations:
Its almost ALWAYS a "Use Item with another Item/Location"-Pattern.
Just try what seems logic to you or ask arround Ingame.

Yes, logical thinking is probobly the handiest tool in the game for finding things out, you could probobly find somebody selling some on ebay. :lol:

@Glorat
One note on farming.
Remember that when you plant something it takes time for it to grow. Don't think you can just use a cabbage seed with a plot of ground and presto you got cabbages. You have to wait for them to grow.
