A drunken dwarf stumbles from the Hemp Necktie end and travels to Galmair. He mutters once before leaving about the bottles of free beer awaiting him when he gets back. He stumbles through the town his half empty mug in hand splashing beer here and there before finding the Galmairian Inn. He approaches the table and moves some papers about there before grabbing the lot and shoving them in his bag. He then staggers out the town by the south gate making a drunken pass at Gavin for a date before going back to the Hempty to retrieve his beer and hand over the paper.

Several hours later four parchments appear posted on the town notice boards of Galmair.

This proposal has been discussed and approved by the three Chancellors in office at Mas 2, 46


Proposal for election of Chancellors.


A citizen may vote for up to three people that fulfill the parameters of Chancellor, that is of a high enough level, patrician. It is their job to make sure those they vote for are of that level, if not the vote will be negated or deleted.

Each vote will cost 10 gold, This should be enough to allow even a newcomer to participate. There is no restriction on bribery for the Chancellor position yet the Don may not pick the one that pays the most coin.

After all votes are in, the Don will pick three of the most likely candidates. It doesn't have to be the ones most voted for.. it can be the ones he thinks will be best for the town and the ones he can work with.

If a Chancellor goes missing, the Don replaces him/her after two weeks dwarfen time among the list originally voted for.

The proposal is signed with each individual Chancellors signature

*Parchment three seems to be notes of old portal sites for Zaras and undead and some notes on where they appeared recently. Most of the notations of this parchment are in the ancient language and not readable by any but trained mages.

*The last parchment is splattered with liquid and strongly smells of beer. Some of the ink is smeared beyond reading in places though some is quite legible.*

After careful consideration by the Chancellors and myself, the following have been charged for their recent offences against Her Majesty Queen Rosaline of Cadomy and her realm.

• Juumajin

The perpetrators were ordered to remain under town arrest during deliberations. Should they choose to leave the town during this time they forfeit the Don's protection and are at the mercy of their enemies. Should they wish to return to Galmair and face justice they will be required to pay a fee *this bit is smeared out so the number is unreadable*

We consider there to be no mitigating circumstances and with sufficient reliable witnesses see no need to waste time and coin on a trial.

The perpetrators are offered a choice of two sentences:

Option 1
Loss of half their rank, a two year ban from office and service to the town.
Service to the town will include cleaning public toilets, scrubbing the pavements and attending to any orders as directed by the Don, Hands, Chancellors, and other recognised officials, without compensation or reward until the individual is deemed worthy.

Option 2
Banishment from Galmair for a minimum of two years before evaluation to regain citizenship.

The witch happens by, looks at the parchments before being dragged by her eldest wishing to go on the picnic, shrugs leaving them as is muttering..
