Ranks & Occupation

Salary and Loot:
Everything a mercenary loots or find as treasure belongs to him or her. Everyone involved shall receive a fair share of the remuneration. The one who leads the Group in battle shall gain two parts of the salary. The Soldier gain one part and the recruits half of a part.

Doppelsöldner (Double-paid mercenary):
Those who are out-and-out devious folk and greedy for more guerdon, even in times of war, cutting of sinners, murdering and plundering, making widows and orphans… Those who picture their daily stew diverting and show cleverness and pertness, those shall march ahead, then they are worth to be Doppelsöldner. – Every Mercenary who earned the Master Mercenary’s Diploma is worth double salary and shall confront mischief and intricacy with grim and firmness.

Crafting:
Everything made in order to support the duty of the soldiers shall be compensated with money out of the guild treasurer’s capital sources as good as possible. Every Mercenary reports his or her orders to the treasurer who pays compensation according to the guild intern nonprofit pricelist.

• Recruit:
  Everyone, who still needs to prove him or herself to the experienced mercenaries shall be a Recruit and obey all given orders. He or she shall watch the daily stew of their fellow campaigners and learn with joy and pride. Recruits shall follow the code of mercenaries with courage and eagerness to earn the honor to become a soldier of the Crimson Crescents one day.
  
  Soldier:
  Everyone who proved bravery and loyalty in battle, and earned the trust of the Captains shall be a reputable mercenary in the rank of a soldier. Soldiers are allowed to accept guild intern jobs who support the common good of the companionship, become a captains deputy as Lieutenant or request the Master Mercenary’s Diploma.
  
  Corporal:
  Soldiers who show notably responsability for the community of the Crimson Crescents deseve to be officiers. Their function is to take care especially about new recruits and support them in their training and drill. During battle Corporals take care about special tasks or command independet armed forces with particulary or hidden purpose.
  
  Lieutenant:
  Each Captain shall take care to find a soldier who is allowed to depute the Captain in any occasion of speech and deed. This soldier should be called Lieutenant and serve his or her Captain wherever it’s useful and be an example with every stroke and coup he or she does.
  
  Captain:
  A Captain proved he/she is able to lead a group successful in battle. He/she manages the fair share for all participants and negotiates about the guerdon and contracts with customers. The Captains watch over the abidance by the code of mercenaries and is ordered to enforce it with blades in case of need.Furthermore the Captain is supposed to evaluate the behaviour of the lower ranks with stripes, in order to simplify promotion-questions. Stripes are available at the memberlist in red.
  
  Commander:
  Only one of the mercenaries shall be ranked as Commander, who’s duty is to represent the companionship and it’s interests to outsiders. Together with those mercenaries ranked as Captain he or she spends his/her time to lead the Guild to wealth and glory. The Commander is chosen by the Captains vote.

Rang & Tätigkeit

Beute und Sold:
Dem Söldner sei sein Eigentum was er plündert oder als Schatz findet. Alle beteiligten Söldner sollen am Lohn eines jeden Auftrages teilhaben. Der der eine Truppe im Kampf führt soll zwei Teile der Beute erhalten. Die Soldaten nehmen sich einen Teil und Rekruten erhalten einen halben Anteil.

Doppelsöldner:
Der der durch die Bank hindurch allzeit ein durchtrieben Volk und trotz Krieg kaum mit seinem Sold begnügig, sticht Sünder ab, mordet und brandschatzt, Witwen und Weisen machend. Und ist ihm sein gemein Tagwerk höchste Kurzweil, ist er hierin kühn und keck, dann muß er Vorne daran und ist würdig, daß er ein Doppelsöldner sei. – Jeder Söldner der den Meisterbrief der Söldnerei verliehen bekommt ist der doppelten Besoldung wert und soll von da an seinen Mitstreitern voranschreiten, auf das er allem Unheil und Heikel mit Grimm entgegentrete.

Handwerk:
Dem Handwerksvolk soll alles Gut das für die Söldnerei gemacht ist vom Schatzmeister vergütet werden. Jeder Söldner berichtet dem Schatzmeister angeschafftes Gut, das dieser anhand des profitlosen Listenpreises beim Handwerker vergütet – solang dessen Schatztruhen es erlauben.

• Rekrut:
  Jeder, der sich den erfahrenen Söldnern noch nicht bewiesen hat soll ein Rekrut sein und allen Anordnungen hörig sein, die man ihm befiehlt. Er soll das Tagewerk der Söldnerei bei seinen Mitstreitern ansehen und gewissenhaft lernen. Mit Eifer und Mut soll er dem Kodex der Gemeinschaft untertan sein, auf das er sich als würdig erweißt bald ein Soldat der Crimson Crescents zu sein.
  
  Soldat:
  Jeder der seine Treue und Mut im Kampf unter Beweis gestellt, und das Vertrauen der Hauptleute geniest soll ein achtbarer Söldner im Rang eines Soldaten sein. Der Soldat ist allezeit standhaft und ein beharrlicher Streiter. Soldaten ist es erlaubt sich einer dem allgemeinen Wohl dienlichen Aufgabe anzunehmen, einem Captain als Stellvertreter zu vertreten oder um einen Meisterbrief der Söldnerei zu bitten.
  
  Corporal:
  Soldaten die besonderes Verantwortungsgefühl für die Gemneinschaft der Crimson Crescents zeigen verdienen es Offiziere zu sein. Sie sind angehalten sich insbesondere neuer Rekruten anzunehmen und sie bei ihrer Ausbildung und im Drill zu unterstützen. Im Kampf werden Corporals besondere Aufgaben zugewießen oder sie befehligen unabhängige Streitergruppen mit speziellen oder gehimen Missionszielen.
  
  Lieutenant:
  Jeder Captain soll dafür Sorge tragen das er einen Soldaten findet dem er zugesteht ihn in Wort und Tat zu vertreten. Dieser Soldat soll Lieutenant geheißen werden und seinem Captain zustelle sein wo immer er kann und dem Haufen ein Vorbild mit jedem Streich und Schlag sein den er tut.
  
  Captain:
  Ein Captain sei jener der bewiesen hat, viele Krieger gekonnt in der Schlacht anzuleiten. Er bestimmt die Höhe des Solds und unterzeichnet den Vertrag mit der Kundschaft. Zu Sorgen hat er, daß jeder Söldner seinen gerechten Teil der Beute erhält und daß die Truppe den Kodex der Söldnerei folge, in der Not mit blutiger Klinge. Weiters ist ein Captain angehalten das Verhalten der niedrigeren Ränge mit Streifen zu beurteilen, um so Fragen der Beförderung zu vereinfachen. Streifen sind in der Gildenliste einsehbar und rot hervorgehoben.
  
  Commander:
  Immer nur Einer der Söldnerleute soll den Rang des Commanders inne haben. Dessen Aufgabe es ist die Söldnergemeinschaft vor Außenstehenden zu vertreten. Gemeinsam mit den Söldnern die sich als Captain hervortun soll er die Gemeinschaft anleiten und zu Wohlstand, wie Anerkennung führen. Er soll von den Captains bestimmt werden.

Hört, hört Mitstreiter und Interessierte!
Am 12. Elos 39 zur Mittagsstunde findet auf dem Markplatz eine beschaulicher Trainingskampf statt.
Es dürfen gerne auch Gildenmitglieder, welche über keine oder nur wenig Kampferfahrung verfügen, daran teilnehmen.
Sowohl Leutnant Julia da Silva, als auch Rekrut Thjolmar Henstigsson werden dem Event beiwohnen. Später schliesst sich uns möglicherweise auch Commander Sarangerel noch an.
Wir rechnen damit, dass sich die Übung bis in die frühen Abendstunden hineinzieht, bevor wir uns dann einen Schlummertrunk in der Taverne zur geflügelten Sau genehmigen werden.
Bitte beachtet, dass es sich bei dem Manöver insbesondere um einen Verteidigungskursus handelt, welcher direkt mit der Expedition zu zwei Höhlen, diese Reise findet voraussichtlich am 06. Tanos 39 ebenfalls gegen Mittag statt, zusammenhängt.

On the 12. Elos 39 at midday there will be a contemplative combat training at the market place.
It’s amongst other things also a good thing for guild members, who do not have any or much combat experience.
Lieutenant Julia da Silva, as well as recruit Thjolmar Henstigsson will be there. Later on Commander Sarangerel may also show up.
We think that the event will last till the early evening hours, afterwards we’ll get a nightcap in the winged show tavern.
Please note that this event is mostly a defense course, which is related to the expedition to two caves, a journey that takes place on the 06. Tanos 39 at noon.

Gerüchte besagen das der Don höchstpersönlich unsere Expedition beaufsichtigen wird! Darum erwarte ich das sich jeder von seiner besten Seite zeigt.
Ich werde die Teilnehmer zur genannten Zeit am Acker vor Galmair versammeln und wir brechen 20 Zwergen-Minuten später auf. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt solltet ihr dann spätestens bereit sein.

With big sorrow I have to announce the dead of Captain Thordin Ironbeard. In the short time he led us in battle he was a bold and resolute man everybody could rely on no matter what. I'm shure nobody will be inconsistent with one another if I say we will miss your guidance and wit the most as long as the Crimson Crescents exist.
