Are there some objectives newbies have to complete before they can really do anything? I don't know how to find poeple who I should talk to for help, and when I meet someone I don't know how to make it so that when they talk to me it actually says their name. Maybe I'm just a little impared, but if ...

All I get when I open the game is a black screen with a character on the side. I can talk, but the majority of the screen (where I'd assume the map would be) is just blank, black space.

Do you think it could be a technical problem?

I can't figure out how to move around in the game, or how to talk.
Well, I sort of figured that out, but I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on how to actually do things in game. Thanks!
