Objectives for newbies.
Are there some objectives newbies have to complete before they can really do anything? I don't know how to find poeple who I should talk to for help, and when I meet someone I don't know how to make it so that when they talk to me it actually says their name. Maybe I'm just a little impared, but if anyone has some insight?

If you'd read the manual, it'll tell you that since you don't KNOW who that person is, he'll just show up as a number. If s/he introduces him/herself (#i) you'll get his/her name, otherwise if you know a person's name (maybe you heard someone refer to him) or you want to mark it, type the name in the text window (example: "Mysterious looking elf"), right click on the person and choose 'give name'.
