Re: Off Topic

Let's face it, Mephy, Fooser, and Starling don't care anymore. We've moved on. So you won't have anymore bad talk about the game or inappropriate responses. Don't punish those who had nothing to do with it. Should have just had a temp forum ban to all those involved. Hell ban me, idc. Cms who ignite...

This came up after the above and I found it an oddly appropriate last message for those I've enjoyed playing with.

Re: Betrachtungen zum Rüstungsschmieden und zum Schmieden

Seriously? With the adjustments to the crafts you can make money with any craft. There's no need for money to be easier to come by than it already is for crafters. Crafters can already make game breaking amounts of coin if you devoted the time into the resources. Please, I've only just started playi...

Re: Can I log out?

Thanks, that clears things up. Though to clarify, unwanted rp scenarios happen, I'm fine with losing coin or some time. However some people don't always follow the rules, and I think I could have saved a lot of personal frustration if I decided to log during those times rather than suffering through...

Lol, If I called you an idiot, I'd be insulting all the idiots too.

No there is no "log out" penalty. when you hit log out, you immediately go poof.

Is it against the rules if you choose to log out when someone is being forceful or rulebreaking?

Re: New weaker wands

Why not separate magic staves from magic wands in the same relevance of two handed vs one handed weapons. This would need some time and balance but it's not a bad idea. Staves could provide more damage slightly slower cast time and much less defense ( should be pretty much none, should at least have...

Re: Mages-Archmage ring and Charm of the icebird

My question in turn is; are these bonuses going to be comparable to an enchanted/Gyphed ring? If the answer is "No" Then is there a problem with adding the proposed effects to enchanted or "Glyphed" versions of these items? Just questions  Is it the intention to just give these items a super ...

Re: Mages-Archmage ring and Charm of the icebird

Okay then, so how about this. Both of these trinkets were originally intended for mages and are very clearly the highest level items for the amulet and ring slots. So one could assume the effects the Glyph Forger would incite in the objects are designed to be for mages. Rough Proposal of effects for...

Mages-Archmage ring and Charm of the icebird

So I noticed in the general magic concept pdf there were no proposed effects for the Archmage Ring and the Charm of the Icebird. What sort of effects did these items have for mages in pre-vbu? What sort of effects should they have now? Ideas? Note: To clarify this is to expand upon the "Glyph Forgin...

It looks better to those "who are just watching"

Re: Race languages / Rassensprachen

Judging from the past I say that one can't expect people to keep ooc knowledge only nebulously marked as such ooc. In regards of language I've seen very good roleplayers going "Hey, my human character heard a lot lizards hissing at each other, of course he understands what these guys are speaking o...

Re: Race languages / Rassensprachen

Could there perhaps be a a way to tie intelligence into it? Say for instance, you may need at very least 6 int to learn one extra language, 8-10 int would allow someone to learn two extra languages etc. An extra language or two for rp is cool, but I think only highly intelligent chars should be able...

Re: Zwischenwelt / Intermediate world

On the surface, I like this idea, and even suggested it to the dev team a loooong time ago. But now I'm wondering why we need to force people to stay away from a battle. In essence, keep them from the action. It seems illogical. This thread began because someone is concerned about triple ghosting, ...

Re: Zwischenwelt / Intermediate world

Something like this will also prevent abuse from the side of the aggressor.

It is very unfair that the inn has an unprotected cross that chars can waltz up to and abuse downed chars.

May I ask what the project is? I do have a dwarf that was driven away from most places, he'd be happy to join a group of dwarves if approached ig or saw a notice.

Char is Vern Burnhammer, Weaponsmaster and miner.

Re: Quests Rewards and Progression

A lv 40-50 for normal quests would be fine I think, the higher level items should be for more difficult quests and not in such volume.

These numbers are just my opinion, anyone else can suggest otherwise.

Re: Quests Rewards and Progression

It is not the intention of the quests to stroll to a nearby NPC and just buy the stuff. If you say the reward is too low, please say how high it should be and why. Current reward is twice what the traders in the town pay for the items (four times compared to the secondary trader in other towns). Th...

I still find this odd.

My only question is: What was the motivation behind raising rent after such a large update?

Imo this is trolling players
