Tutorial: Nobody proposed a huge tutorial that's separate from the game. It must either be completely a part of it or else, if separated from it, be very short. I've got no problems with Linux Mint (an Ubuntu fork), nVidia drivers and Oracle Java 7, so I don't think any of these bits of software are the cause of your trouble on their own.

I've just written some things that may be taken as harsh criticism. Here however, I'd only like to say how awesome this is. It really makes a difference when you don't see the individual tiles all the time.

Installs and works fine for me on linux, except for one small issue. The launcher doesn't close itself automatically anymore when you start the client or one of the editor apps. I'm not sure whether this is a bug or intended behavior, but I find it a little less convenient than before.

It never was one tile.
The old whisper range looked like this:

I like the new range btw. It allows groups bigger than 4 people to have a private conversation.

I lost that old map to computer death, but it has been decided that it won't be used anymore since the VBU. There were plans to make a new world map, but I can't remember who was supposed to be working on it and whether that's still being done.
