I can answer that I think.
They are just used for testing right now. There is no use for them. That is why if you have one, you should give it to a GM.

Trap sets are still buggy. Therefore the staff does not want players to have them.

I had 5 at one point, but Serp told me to give them to him...

Anyway, i hope they put them in game soon, that would be cool.
Why gurik, have you seen a trap recently? i havent seen one for months...

Do they reimburse you? I hear they are quite costly

Fooser told me one time that there were caps on how much experiance you could get for monsters. Like you basically couldn't learn anymore from killing the monster.

Why should you train all time at the same monsters? Myself always wants the biggest survivorable challenge he can do. So, why stay at the mummies?
And if you always kill the same monsters, doesn't get this boring after 1000 skeletons?

Kinda bad RP seeing as traps cost a lot and then this guy comes up and says give it to me. Would you do it?

The problem is ooc, not ic, now if they gave ooc rewards it would be ok. Maybe a little award thingy ((really small)) under your avatar or something?

Your character wouldn't just give away a trap for nothing....

like this
You know you aren't supposed to have them for ooc reasons, therefore it should be like you never had it.

If you wish the GMs can introduce some nice holy law against trap sets. And if you refuse to hand them out you will just be erased from the world...
Anyway, I thought Falk had already deleted them anyway. I didn't know there would still exist some.

what about all that money you spent buying it?

It's not the gamemasters fault if you buy items which should never have been in game and are at every time requested to be handed out to a staff member.

If you are caught with a Trapset, which is a forbidden item currently, you can be happy to just lose it (and the money your Char might have spend).
You could also end up banned, for bug abusing.

It's impossible to know if somebody didn't or not, might as well give it up and get it over with.
