I heard the shopkeeper has some old books about all kinds of herbs. Beware to read magic books - the wisdom of the mages makes you makes you dumb concerning the druid arts.
To create the potions you will need herbs. Look around you, they grow almost everywhere. Take a sharp tool to cut them off.
The books you read so far, tell you about the meaning of each herb. Try to figure out combinations that you think might be useful, but be sure to have some mortar to prepare the herbs and flasks to pour the potion into.
For the exact tecnique of these arcane arts, refer to the book named "manual". If you don't find a chapter about druid arts or herbery, look for the arcane arts - they are very similar.

 Try a sharp tool to cut them

Yeah, wich one? And are the herb named "herb" or are there some names? I think you should expand the manual to some examples because it's very hard to find everything out. So you miss the most stuff...

(But otherwise its a good system to keep newbees from doing everything in the beginning :))

A sharp tool to cut herbs - could that be a sword? Imagine Miraculix cuting herbs from a tree with a sword (or did he use any other device?)
There are different kinds of herbs (in fact 32, but you can't get them all right now). The ones that have names like "herb" or "plant" doesn't count.

What is about weaker and stronger healing potions, and potions that can be thrown or used with items ? or just be "activated" ... like a flask used, placed on the floor, and then it makes fire or acid or stuff. And imagine to throw things that take their effect when dropped more far then one lace... or when dropped at all. You could not sell those hehe.. or apply poison to blades to do damage AFTER hitting the target... daggers that do very few damage, or needles, and penetrate armors if skilled... could have many effects. Or a blowgun for druids ? hehehe...
