I have been thinkgin about this for a long time. How can a desert be right near a lush forest? or such a small island support a lot of ecosystems? This is just my thoughts of the actual island.

Ever been to California? I've seen places that don't seem to make sense but happen anyway, especially in areas inhabited by people.

Yea but California is huge, I use to live there. This island is pretty small.

There are areas where you'll see lush forest but also small areas with absolutely nothing but rocks and sand in the middle of it. I used to go camping alot and saw a lot of this, even within the small radius where we'd be located. Plus think of the possible supernatural causes in game.

It's possible because it has to. There is only this one island so all ecosystems had to be made side by side. However, the island is not small, it is as big as your imagination makes it. Troll's Bane is supposed to be a medium sized medieval town, even though it technical is half a dozen buildings and one main street only.

Well, Val, you havent been to half of the places In Illarion... It's not really that small.
And, it IS a fantasy game... Though it is supposed to be realistic, it doesnt really matter! Besides. Do you not want the sand, or a forest?

No, you havent explored everywhere. You forget, Im trapped underground right now. I really am... and its just as big as the entire island nearly just where I am at -6.... Val, you most defeinatley havent explored everywhere.

The island itself isn't very large. However, there are a lot of seperate islands around that make the 'land' as a whole really really big.

Well, just because You are only able to go around your own town, doesnt mean you have explored the entire world...
