I found the first bug. I started fighting some flies, and suddenly I am grandmaster at dodge, a skill I haven't had before. I'm still searching for more bugs

i'm sure the GM's are aware of this, and probably working on it as we speak.

Throwing stars: If you stand right next to the monster, a slashing sound is to be heard. Is that intended?
Distant weapons: Might be due to the bad skill dwarves have with distant weapons (dwarves don´t have pointed ears...), but I was unable to hit anything with distant weapons at any range. Not even sheeps. At least no blood was spilled.
All in all, great work! All my main points I disliked about the old system were fixed, including ... find our yourself what works now great

One thing: The attack speed of monsters and players is quiet good, but maybe it could be slowed a little bit more? Just a suggestion.

				Bug #2
The new dodge skill comes up under Language skills. It should be under Fighting skills or am I wrong?

I guess that now blind people can´t shoot any more

Bad news for many archers on the island, if I guess right.

Well, if they went out of their way to only give themselves the stats necessary to fight everything they see, the probably deserve to miss.

Did you wear a shield at this time? Then the slashing sound could have come from you smashing your shield at the poor monster.

Sounds reasonable. I´ll try it without a shield.
Congratulations for making it impossible for characters with low perception to use ranged weapons. I like this very much, this will reduce the number of snipers a lot.

You can't target monsters which stand in a flame that was casted on them.
If they just walked into an existing flame it works.

I haven't even gotten dodging skill yet, so it is obviously something I am not doing.

				parry: deflecting a blow
dodge: moving yourself out of the line of the weapon aiming at you

There is a minor issue about the dodge-thing: To gain the skill is very difficult. This will be changed soon.

Yeah, if you're no good at dodging you wont be able to do it, so when you die from the arrow you wont have any skill

  Or so they say ...
