Um Troll's Bane etwas bunter und abwechslungsreicher zu gestalten ist es schon lange mein Wunsch, die ganz gewöhnliche Kriminalität etwas zu fördern. Allerdings habe ich festgestellt dass es allein ingame kaum möglich ist Diebe, Halsabschneider und all das andere Gesindel zusammenzubringen.

Deshalb habe ich eine Idee entwickelt die ich nach Rücksprache mit anderen Spielern vorstellen möchte um zu sehen inwiefern daran Interesse besteht.

Ich möchte ein Forum einrichten, das die Verbreitung von Nachrichten und Gerüchten innerhalb der Unterwelt simuliert und somit Kommunikation und gegenseitiges Kennenlernen erleichtert. Es soll dabei allerdings nicht die Anwesenheit und die Interaktion im Spiel selbst ersetzen.
Das Forum wird eine geschlossene Gemeinschaft sein, Zugang erhält wer innerhalb der Gemeinschaft ausreichend Vertrauen oder einen entsprechenden Ruf in Troll's Bane genießt. Das geschiet einerseits um den Ordnungshütern eine Herausforderung zu bieten und andererseits natürlich auch um die Mitglieder der Gruppe zu schützen. Wir sind alle nur Menschen und es ist für niemanden leicht verlockendes OOC- Wissen nicht zu verwenden.

To make Troll's Bane become a little bit more colorful I have the wish to encourage plain criminality a little bit. But I noticed that it is almost impossible to achieve that ingame alone.

Therefore I thought up an idea which, after talking about it with other players, I want to present to see how much interest there is.

I want to create a message board that simulates the spreading of rumours and news among the underworld and simplifies communication. Howewer it will not replace going online and interacting ingame.
The board will be closed community, to become access you have to be trusted by members of the community or have the right reputation.
That happens to give our keepers of order some challenge and of course to protect the community. We are all only human and its hard for everyone not to use a tasty bit of OOC info.

Die Idee ist wirklich gut, solange auch hier miteinander gespielt wird und nicht gegeneinander und alle Spaß haben finde ich das wirklich interessant.

Und vor allem muss man schon ziemlich gut planen, denn Planung und Information ist das Wichtigste, auch für den Gegner wenn es denn dazu kommen sollte einmal Gut gegen Böse zu spielen.

Der Zweck eines solchen Forums soll gerade darin liegen das Miteinander von Chars, die auf der "falschen Seite des Gesetzes" stehen zu stärken. Bisher habe ich das Gefühl dass von denen jeder mehr oder weniger sein eigenes Ding macht. Es geht auch weniger darum große Pläne auszuhecken sondern einfach etwas alltägliche Kriminalität zu stärken, indem man einfach weiss wohin man sich wenden kann in bestimmten Situationen.

I'm goint to post the link here and maybe also give it to Alatar to add it to the link page. You may go there and register (I will add a public board if I see any reason to do so) but the boards themselves will only be accessable by introduced chars. The best way to become introduced is to get a "good" reputation

Is this still on? I could just add it on to the illarionmarketplace board, as that could be something that people discuss in a marketplace....

I'm working on it. The board is already installed but I'm still waiting for some feedback from certain players which I already gave the link to.

Also, I don't want this board to be a place to meet and discuss, but rather a kind of simulation of information spreading across a virtual underworld community.

The link will be released as soon as everyone is satisfied.

I am now releasing the board to the "public". Board rules can be found in the public board, which is the only one people can access without being "initiated" by me. Everyone in the inner circle has the right to propose new faces in the proper board, but the final decision is mine. This is done to keep certain roleplaying standards up and to keep out some wags who make themselves a joke of revealing the members of "hidden societies". I won't reject anyone who can give me a good explanation of why I should add him.
Old chars who already are in the business some time now have the unique possibility to contact me via PM and apply for membership. New chars will be added ONLY by request of other members.
