Well, I seed 1 grain and get 1 grain for it. Hm? Should be 10 or maybe 5 for 1. That would make it possible to become a farmer and produce grain. But with 1 for 1 this makes no sense.

You get 0-3 grain for one planted - depends on your peasant skill and random factors. Statistical it pays, to be a farmer even with a zero skill.
