Is there some way we can view our attributes we gave our character at creation.

Normally I wouldn't mind but because of the changes I need to see if my characters can still live up to what they've been roleplaying.

Actually, the information on the front page about the attributes seems to be a bit outdated. It would be nice to post a list of what is really implemented by now.

Like, it says that perception is not used yet, while it actually is.

The problem arises when they make certain attributes do things, this is all good and well yes, but if like me you configure your player to best suit thier role at the time you make it things get turned upside-down when atrributes who you assigned little to before now mean your role cannot be filled.

I wish to check whether I can still fill the same role as I did when I created my character.

If you know, what role you want to play with the char. You should be able to set up his stats without knowing if they are implemented or not.

But I cant remember whether I did or not.

They might not all be implimented yet, but that isn't important because sooner or later they all will/should be.

They are implemented for sure.

Then how can a character with 0 perception have a 360 degree line of sight (which is impossible for humans, elves etc)?

Yes, but some people ... I am guessing a lot ... need to roleplay not being able to see further than the square in front of them, which is more the point I am getting at.

You (your Character) can see farer than 1 square.

He can see everything clear what is arround him, although he gets problems when it comes to recognize objects clearly at greater distances.

Hey I have another question about attributes! No where on the create sheet has it say what each attribute does. Yet when we get in the game with no intelligence and read a book, my character stinks. I have no clue what some of these things do for the game so I can't role play something I don't know.

Also... Just sucks being able to only cast TWO spells...

Is there a way I can make a new character... With the same name but just different attributes?

Edit : Actually, I am sorry. I was wrong. It does say what the attributes do, but for intelligence it doesn't say that it limits you on the amount of spells you can cast.

I am sorry, that the "Advice" in the Client is indeed a bit outdated.

But with common sense you should know what each attribute does.

Strength makes you physicaly stonger.
Intelligence makes you smarter.
Willpower makes your will stronger.

I joined in January of 2003. And that was posted December 2003. So I didn't know anyways. I didn't know my attributes because of the 2 week wait. So I couldn't ask anyone what I should do.

I know what all the different things mean, but I don't know how they apply to the game. Knowing spells and being smart are two different things. You could be a book smart person. Know all your history facts, math, pass with 4.0's but not have any common sense of regular daily knowledge.

Every game is different. I didn't know. Basically, I was being a little newb that I was.

So there is no way for me to restart with same name but different attributes? That's all I want to know.
