About the "description".

When you create a character with the client, it asks for description.
My question is fairly simple:
Should it be a very long and detailed such, or is it good enough with a few lines?
Thanks for sparing your tiem to answer my question.

It is of little to no consequence right now.
in the future it might be made visible, but i guess we will provide a
possibility to edit it then.

While I'm waiting for my application to get accepted/rejected, I'd like to ask some more questions, and those who got time and the will may answer.
- Who is Darlok?
- Who is Grant?
- What's the war (that appears frequently in topics) about?
Thank you for taking some time of to answer my questions.

I'll tell you everything ... as soon as you are in game. Here is no place to learn about it.

"I am Darlok."
Or in this case here, Darlok is my Character.

Darlok i think he wants to know why you are discussed so much

Hmm, he didnt ask.
He just asked who Darlok is, that would be me.

Ok... let's change the questions to more suit my inqusitive nature:
- Why is Darlok discussed so much?
- Why is Grant discussed so much?
I'll skip the third question until I can get in to thw world of Illarion itself.
The note is signed and Derathor leaves it for the time being.

The character Grant Herion is discussed sooo much because he does a lot of things that change the game. He is trying to conquer Northerot which the character Darlok currently rules.
Grant is trying to conquer Northerot because he believes he has a right to it, and also believes it would be better for the island if he conquers Northerot.
Currently he is a worshipper of Nargun which is semi controversial because Nargun is not a popular god because he is the God of Chaos. But Grant believes that Nargun is misunderstood and that most of the people who curse the name of Nargun are simply iggnorant.
What else... Grant is the leader of the Reborn Movement, a large guild...
Disliked by a lot because he used to be allied or maybe even friends with Darlok. But after Grant realized Darlok had been using him Grant got angry and so now Grant hates Darlok and fights him ruthlessly..
I think that is about it for the character of Grant..
The player of Grant gets complained about so much because I used the wrong word for naming of the Government of Callahorn, (which is a different name of Northerot), ya, I used republic instead of Monarchy, and now they made that thread which was originally just for fun into a major arguement...
Honestly, I believe that if I had used the word Monarchy and still had the elected official bit in the government they would be doing the same thing...

I found that site quite helpful! *smiles*
I'll have to read through it all later though, gotta go... and do... something... umh... important(?!)
Note is hastily scribbled and some words are missing, they remind you of cludder...

I don't really know where to put this, so i'll just stick it in here to save board-space!
Thank you most dearly GM's for accepting my request for an account. I am looking forward to test this game and experience (for once) a real online RPG.
