Betrayal

Grant leans against the shop wall, not because he is tired but because he has last all hope. He was betrayed by someone he had trusted with his life, he had bought and given mana potions to, someone he considered a friend.
Veralion would have been easily beaten, and talisien could have easily stayed out of the fray. But Grant trusted talisien far to much and it cost his life. Grant would have thought so much more of Talisien, was he a spy for Darlok ? or the Bloodskulls? Why would the Bloodskulls hire a spy in the Movement? There was no logical reason and why would a spy hired by Darlok save Veralion's life?
Grant now stood up. Angry flowing through him. He had joked with Talisien. He had confided in him plans, plans he never should have told or spoken about. Grant learned a lesson this day. And Talisien was now a marked man in many people's eyes.
