Perhpas we could have a boomerange. a distance weapon that would return to you.(skill dependant) if your distance skills are bad, you ahve a low change of the boomerange returning to you, or it might even hurt you. high skills you nearly always get the boomerange back adn it never hits you(no damage to your person)
i did a search and didnt find anything, so this is up for good constructive comentary
just my ideas

I don't really think a boomerange has a place in a medival fantasy game. That's just what i think.

Didn't the indians on Australia use the boomerang? Or something like that... it was an ancient type of weapon.

Sounds as if maybe this weapon would only favor those who were very well skilled and hurt those just starting up. A little out of place, but hey, Im all up new stuff so why not. I would actually say if you miss your target you get it back, but if you hit it is gone. Could do a decent ammount of damage, you could carry a shield, and you could only carry maybe 30 or so, but that is still alot of boomerangs.

'A distance weapon that would return to you' - Drogla. *Looks to you strange* But it would not if it struck someone it would fall to the floor!

Maybe the idea was that you could pick it up after you throw it, that's realistic. But then you should be able to pick up arrows too, and spears bolts etc. Of course some may break but there would still be some you could use again, even if they did less damage because they were slightly blunt, but then you could always sharpen it again.
It's an interesting idea but there are already quite a few distance weapons and I don't really see how this would be much different from the rest.

And what about bottles. I don't find it quite logical, that you drink a bottle and then throw it away just because it is empty and dirty. Maybe there could be a "dirty" bottle implied into the game, that you have to wash (use with the water). Maybe even use with a bucket filled with water, so it's not too easy to "get your bottle back".
Well, just a thought

Zarah, i agree with you but it would also be unfair for people who sell bottles for a living it would ruin there way to make money. But it doesnt make sense just throwing a bottle away

How about a bottle gets used up (breaks in some time, just like all the other tools) and of course then bottles would get more expensive, as you can use it several times.

No, when you re using them(drinking the potion). Or if you can wash them in the river, you let one slip of and it sinks to the ground, just like the rods.

I think he just means that the bottles 'wear' over time and break. You walking around with several glass bottles in your backpack after a while they would break. But just so you wouldn't lose your expensive potions it would only break when you use it, so after you drink the potion you discover the glass is cracked and the bottle unusable, or something like that
