Future Changes in Northerot

If I become King of Northerot, there will be many changes of Northerot. Most of what will happen is that Northerot will not be a waste of space. Nor would it be a isolated land. If I were King I would open the land to all to settle in. If I were King, everyone would be able to settle with equal opportunites.
The first change I would make would be to hire workers to dig up and move the heavy iron rocks to another location. This would give us more space to move freely in Northerot.
Then I would hire the same workers to dig up some of the rocky earth at the western part of the Kingdom and replace that rocky earch with farming land. This would give farmers a very large plot of soil to make money. This would also give our Kingdom a surplus.
The third change I would make is to begin construction on the city on the eastern half of the nation. I would hire workers and they would build the towns base through cobblestones, and then we would build from there. A smithing shop, a tavern or two, a farming shop, a tailor shop, a carpentery shop and who knows what else.
The fourth change that would take place would be the pier for fishers is to be made. It would be 4 or 5 paces in width and nearly 7 to 10 paces out into the ocean. I would also want to build a fisherman shop there were fisherman could buy or sell their fish and poles.
Another important change would be to build a House of Healing in the land to the North. Three mages and three druids, maybe more, who had devoted their lives to the healing of ailments and broken bones would occupy the house. People from all across the island will come to the House of Healing when they are sick or injured.
I would also plan on removing most of the rocky earth in the land of the North and replacing it with grass or adding more farming land. But I would prefer that the farming land stay on the western half of the island.
I would also want to build a place where mages and druids could learn how to use and hone their skills. It would be fairly large and would have many books for our mages and druids to read and learn from. There would experienced mages and druids there who would own the place, they would teach the inexperienced mages and druids ways of using their own forms of magic.
Along with that will be a guard who dedicates their lives to protecting this large place full of mages and druids. They will need to be strong and loyal.
Anyone and everyone on this island would be able to become a citizen. Any race and any sex will have equal rights. Regardless of your past you will be allowed and welcome to the new Northerot.

But besides physical changes, there would others. For one thing, I would not be an absolute monarch. There would be a council of four and if three of the council opposed my idea then my idea wouldn't be used. The council would be composed to wise and untainted minds.
The castle Darlok built would be use for council meetings with the King and not as a living space, simply because there is no way anyone could live there.
There will be a standing army composed of people willing to fight for Northerot's protection. However, the standing army will not leave Northerot's borders and will be just for defense.
Northerot will be a place where you can live like Trolls Bane, but you would be able to live freely there. You would be able to practice your magic in Northerot, not inside a shop, (unless the owner says it is alright for you to do this), but you would be able to practice your magic in peace without guards shouting at you.

This may seem like a big ideas, but I can make this happen with work. I can turn Northerot into an actual nation, better then any on this island.
This is what I would do as King.

"Hmmm... the man does have ideas... I wonder why Darlok didn't keep him..." - Konstantin thinks to himself as he reads through the program sketch.
