Illarion.org

My next project will be a public patch for illarion, anyone have any suggestions. Note: i can only work with media aspects of game, so thats only sounds, music, and graphics. - btw, the last major update seemed to of been updated souly with what i can do. Might as well call me patch Illarion v0.4i or somethin'

Maybe you should get the approval of the staff to edit their game or you just might wind up banned.

Follow this link, you will notice that there are several names listed there.

Some of them have the addition "Contact Person", you might want to ask them first before messing arround with the Illarion Client.


On the other hand, I dont suggest to download any modifications for the Illarion Client, there is no support that it will run, or is virus/trojan free.

Additionally, there is no guarantee either that it does not send the login data to someone else than the Server... At least, no guarantee from the staff.

Yes, I don't agree with you messing around with their Client without their full permission, but if by patch and things you meant just alternate texture files or sounds then you should still get their permission before you post them but other then that I don't see many problems with that. I mean if a person prefers your sword clang to the games original, as that's done with plenty of other games. (Was just recently looking for a new sound pack for DoD )
