It opens forum.illarion.org not www.illarion.org/forums

I'm just a bit paranoid after my home page keeps resetting to search-space.com and I have recently found and destroyed over 290 spyware files on my hard drive

I have always gone to http://www.illarion.org/community/forums/ to get to the forum.

While your dl'ding things you could use that time to work and get payed and buy whatever legally.

I am unable to access the B-ball topic.
Any ideas why?

Edit: I am able to access the topic, but it seems that either my machine or the Forum thinks that there are two pages that don't actually exist at all, but merely appear in the list.

http://forum.illarion.org works like http://www.illarion.org/community/forums/. There is no difference.

Mainly I'm doing no changes you will see. I'm converting the homepage to XHTML which will improve the speed of loading hompage sites. I have already improved some other (not visible) details.

Bror sent me an update for the development sites, so you can see which things are ready/planned/at work/...

Some improvements you'll find at the chronicle, handbook and background story.

The newsletter thing is deleted for some reasons (forum, news-site etc.).

It's not longer possible to view the forum inside the hp - only in a new window.

To explain the technical details about the board not being able to be in a frame for Alatar, XHTML doesn't include frames. Frames are leftover from older versions of HTML, and are no longer necessary as there are newer, more effective ways to make a page's layout. XHTML takes the style out of HTML and instead relies on CSS for that, which also doesn't include frames, but instead includes CSS boxes.

XHTML is also alot more strict than the older HTML, so I congratulate Alatar for taking this step for web standards.

Hey, I quit Kazaa a long time ago (around the time when the government started cutting down on illegal downloading and some people were sued several thousand pounds). I had a trojan that would crash my browser if I tried opening a link in a new page. I used a little program called CWShredder to get rid of it.

On the homepage the banner with the demon fellow who tells you how many people are online is kind of strange and repeats itself instead of stretching across the page.

@Shi'voc, did you get my PM about my char 'Hermie' losing all his items and a lot of his skills? (Just thought I'd ask while I was here)

Hermie your trojan is not the reason for this.
Alatar is still working there.

But you should get away the trojan

Der Link zur Chronik funktioniert weder auf der englsichen noch der deutschen Seite.

Das Hanbuch kann ebenfalls nicht aufgerufen werden.

Alatar, ich habe einen kleinen Fehler auf der HP gefunden: http://illarion.org/illarion/de_rules.php#9
Dort steht "Mein Parry skill geht bis zum 2.r" - dies ist aber nach dem "neuen" System nichtmehr möglich. Man müsste es nur zu "Mein Parry skill ist schon dunkelrot" verändern, um Missverständnise zu vermeiden.

Anybody find that when you press the refresh button in the main forum it returns you to the homepage?

I couldn't reproduce this. Everthing works fine.

if you use the "refresh" button of the browser, you get back to the main page.
if you klick onto the "forum index" link, the forum reloads.

if you right-click the link and cose open in a new window then you can refresh and still be in the forums

Auf der deutschen info seite über die Berufe findet man als letzten/bzw. vorletzten beschreibungspunkt folgendes: Beuernfähigkeiten .

Außerdem sollte das Handbuch überarbeitet werden, vorallem was die charerschaffung/attribute angeht stehen hier, im bezug auf RP, irrenführende angaben....

Das Handbuch muss inhaltlich aktualisiert werden, richtig - aber das läuft dann extra.

Es wurde nur beim letzten beruf verändert, der fehler ist aber bei allen berufen.

Beim Link der deutschen Chronik, 1. Jahr, Monat Juli erscheinen die Daten für den Monat August, nicht die für Juli, die fehlen.
In der englischen Version stimmt es.
