Postings on the RPG board - How they should be formed

There is a nice thread about the new forest on the RPG board.
If you write anything there, it should be written, as your character would have written it. Your character doesn't know anything about "upper corners of the map" or about "RPG boards". He shouldn't even use words like "OK", "CU" , ":-)"...
This isn't only a wish for initial postings, it applies to replies too.
I would like to give an example and give solutions, of how it could be better. I picked the latest example from Erdrick. This is only one of many examples and not meant to offend someone. I know, many people are not familiar with RPG and there is very little writen about that concept on this page. When I have more time, I'll write something about it and post links.
Now to the example:

"Uhmmmm, where is this forest again?
I've searched upper-right corner of map and theres no forest...
Or is this a made-up story fit for an RPG board?
Oh well ill go check, but storys sound good kepp em up."

One (of many) solutions would be this:

I heard rumor spreading throughout the land, talking about the discovery of a mystical forest, far to the east. One week ago I packed my bag and went out on the street to go end see it with my own eyes. I walked for days in the north eastern area, but all I found was endless plains. There wasn't much vegetation or animals, so I got short on food and decided to travel back to the city.
When I got there I went to the tavern to take a beer and relax. I saw an old scribe sitting in a dark corner of the room and asked him to write a few lines for me. He did and I placed the scroll at the board in the bar. The lines read:
"Listen people!
I traveled the lands in search for an enchanted forest. All I found was the wounds on my feet after weeks of walking.
I pay a reward of five gold pieces to anyone that gives me information that result in the discovery of the forest.
Ask the tavern keeper for Erdrick."

The post could of course be shorter, but it should not include words or information, only you (the player) and not the character knows.

It would be nice, if Erdrick could edit his post (of course not copy pasting my text;-) ).

Now to the question:
The forest is not made up, it exists. And if you edit your posting on the RPG board, you will surely receive some hints where to find it.

yep. roleplaying is made on the corresponding board and kidding somewhere else.

uh, oopsie

well then erase this topic since there is no need anymore, i see the error of my ways.
Anyway that forest isnt a mze its just crowded.
and its annoying in the game where people that are a screenlenght away
cannot hear me.
I was trying to contact a good freind and i cant get him...
