Tag des Sturms / Day of the Storm

Citizens of Troll's Bane, Northerot and others,
The Horde was destroyed in the great battle. After many long fights with many dead own people, we finally defeated them. The orcs, that did not died, fled with boats and where never seen again. The Temple of Zelphia want everyone to celebrate the 28. of december as a the glory "Day of the Storm", when we all defeated the horde together. We want everybody to have a prayer to the fallen heroes and to remind our sons and daughters of the horrible happenings, let's hope, something like that will never happen again.
Signed:

((there is no december in illarion, I think Illarion is in the summer months right now))
Fallen heroes, puh, you mean the idiots who ran outside the gates trying to take all the glory for themselves while the people who were never even scratched waited and decimated the monsters one at a time at the gates.
I think the person who deserves contratulations is the man who held off Ashkatuul while I pummeled him with ice bolts. I think his name may be Ishan or something like that. If it wasn't for him Ashkatuul would have easily stormed through the northern gate and got on the flank of the east and south defenders with his huge army of undead and beholders.

Why would you consider us idiots? we went out of the gates to try to keep the beasts as far away from trollsbane as possible only a few got in. I myself risked my life to help protect the town. And i did not leave the gates for glory i left to do as much possible to protect trollsbane.and you must remember lots of Peasants with no armour standing at the gates. Some orcs and skeletons got into town killing innocent people. All i can say is that everyone out there tried there best to protect trollsbane
Sincerely

Idiots, you arn't talking about the men who went out and tried to push the horde back form where the came to proctect the town and the women and children inside...While the others who "Took-charge" waited for death to come to them..See the ones who went out where brave and tried to help others, the fools who shide inside where cowards who didn't want to get dirty and the put women children in danger becuase they where to scare to go out there and face them.
Even though I'll never admit that i went out there to help people, if it wasn't for the few who did the town would be over run with orcs demons and beholders at this very moment.

What are you talking about few, there were swarms of people at the gates and yelling at the people going out to get back in so they could destroy them as they came through the gate easily. In the whole battle I did not see anything besides a few zombies get through the gates. I was mostly at the northern gate with a few people defending against Ashkatuul's undead forces.
Pushing the horde back from where they came from is fine, but not smart when it is twice as easy to kill them from the walls.
Sun Long turned the tides at the southern gate like no other killing demon after demon with only a few blows.
I am not refering to the people at the near end of the battle going outside the walls to destry the remnant forces.

Allerus,
We needed to clear a path through the orcs so that people coming from the battle in the desert could get to town without dieing. We did that. When everyone from the battle in the desert was in town we did fall back. We had Salathe stay in the entrance because he is strong enough to hold it. Everyone who fought today was a hero, there was no single man or woman who saved the day. A battle was fought at every gate, we needed heros to hold the gates and that is what we got.

I apologize, I never heard anything about the desert, yes salathe held them off, but noone could attack them but him also. As for no single man or woman saving the day, I could argue with that, however, they are defeated, so lets move on with our lives.

The battle ended only a few hours ago and the bickering, who deserves most of the glory, already began.
Pathetic.

They bicker because they are confused. They are confused because there aren't answers. Answers that are needed. Like where did the Horde come from? Did Darlok truely bring them back with him? I believe so. But I have no proof. Only that Darlok made an alliance with the clan called the Horde, but Nerevar told Darlok to make them leave this island. They left, but they returned, perhaps Darlok had them attack this island for his own gain. But could he really believe they would win? We need answers. And the truth.

At least the people bickering deserve glory Hagen, the bravest thing I witnessed you do that day was go near the gate and ask how many enemies were left outside, the rest of the time I saw you standing out side the library with those who could not fight.
