Time zones are involved. Some people don't play as much, so they only browse the forum. This isn't like RuneScape, so you may leave.

Because some have 5 chars and 5 accounts on the forum.
Then there are many people who was only a week here but needed a acc..
And an other reason is that you cannot play the whole time.

oh my
wot would this zensaber say if i mentioned him that i play Ultima Online on my friend's own server. We are only 10 playing... 5 of which are gamemasters... and i am getting 4 new recruits at least...

You can all see his point of view though. I mean an morpg isn't much multiplyer if not very many peopple play. 
Although 20 is enough for all of us, some people prefer a larger community. I find it harder to maintain order over a larger community then a small one. Hence why are society is generally civil and gets alone, whereas larger ones such as tibia tend to be a bit 'cruder', as well as more pk's

I think you are mixing up this game with Tibia. Tibia calls itsself an RPG but it isn't. The goal of this game here isn't to gain skills very fast and kill all others...

Gee whiz...has this game ever even hit around 100 people online? the most I ever saw was like 42 and I was amazed to see that.

i really cant satn so many people on one server. it lags like hell. thats the main reasoen i joind besides that it is the only real rpg i mean have in hundrads upon hunreds of poeple it would be hard to move since in illarion we dont have "walk through poeple " in runescape illarion is "small but sweet
