I know this has been proposed, but this is my idea

No new graphics need to be created,

But

When it snows if you are not wearing a coat or somethign you begin to loose health VERY VERY slowly

Same with a hot day, if you are not wearing the right attire.

I know this can be RP which I do, but it would be more of a forced RP and I think it would be nice.

Hmm.
I had already forgotten this, IMO it needs to be re-implemented.

I think those were just GM broadcasts, to support the drought quest.
Those messages will surely appear again from time to time, when some GM has time to do it and some special weather effects will occur, like snow storms, acid rain...

If you dig the proposals forum far enough, you notice that Martin did the broadcasts for the first time. And that was, if I recall correctly, much before the drought-quest.

I know, it's just that your words sounded as if it was a server function rather then just GM broadcast. A GM can't do this all the time, so I just wanted to say that it might be kept for special events.

Maybe when you log in it tells the usual things and then it tells you that you see clouds and blue sky or whatever the weather is for that day.

so if it is hot outside what if you have to wear armor you end up loosing health this wouldnt make sense

I don't think I understand because nobody has to wear armor.

i have an idea that can better emphasize weather, i saw this on a game i was playing, the water reflected nearby objects and sky, and gave a very real affect to the game.
