Im not ingame yet so I dont know if this is implemented but here it goes anyways. I saw this on the game Astonia and thought it was a good idea

There should be (if there already isnt) a way to change your speed

Stealthy - You move slowly but monsters dont spot you for longer. Also maybe your defense goes up but your melee attacking goes down a bit

Normal - You start out like this it is well normal

Running - You are really fast. Your louder so monsters spot you sooner and your attack goes up while your defense goes down.

Well What do you all think. All comments welcome

Maybe when there is a better stamina system in place, the option of running would be good.

I like this idea, but i also think that running should only last a while(untill your char gets tired). And maybe things such as some armor or carrying things stop you from being able to run.

Good idea. Like heavy plate armor wouldnt allow you to run

Well, I think plate armor should allow you to run, but it is just that the more items and armor you are carrying, the slower you run, and the less items you carry, the faster you run.

I think you should run at almost the same speed, just takes more stamina.

Sounds like playing Diablo II.


I think it is fine the way it is. If you are overweighted you walk slower and slower, depending on the weight.

But what about walking faster. I mean if hypotheticaly if you were a thief and stole some money wouldnt you want to run away before they tried to lessen your height by a foot?(oh that means take off your head)

this of course inforces better rp by theives so they can't wear full knight armor when they steal things.
