i think that the game should be implemented with characters able to sit on chairs, because its like all the chairs are useless.
why couldnt we have hoarses for example?
it is a mediavel surrounding, and i think men and elves could ride on hoarses, bought from special sellers.

You can sit on chairs. Walk over to one and type #me sits on the chair. Quite simple. And for horses, is it really needed? The island isn't that big, you can walk the entire thing easily without a horse.

Horses have been done before (I think...or was that a dream?) and suggested thousands of times...just search.

First of all hoarses are implemented just say #me has a sore throat and talks funny.

there would be no point to a horse. Sure its medevil surroundings but what would you do kill it for meat? You couldnt ride it that wouldnt be possible.

Because Illarion is a roleplaying game, there is a point to chairs. you sit in them. Its like smoking a pipe, lots of halflings do it but theres no graphic for it. #me slides slowy into the comfortable arm chair thats how to use a chair. Also everyone recognizes that if you walk "into" a chair and stay there your sitting in it.

This has nothing to do with the topic, but "hoarses?" I've never seen it spelled that way. I always see "horses." Is it like English english, like how they spell "color" with a "u" (colour)?

Sitting graphics: Yea, and weapon slashing graphics, spell casting graphics, working graphics...
It has been said numerous times: No. Too much hastle for too less effect. If you want to sit, use a #me command as everyone else.

Horses: Another case for the "search" option. Proposed thousands of times before, and it still has no sense in the current world. Where would you want to ride that you can't just walk?

You can reach anywhere on the island within ten minutes, if you are unencumbered. Horses would be pointless.

If your going to use them to carry around weight, might as well have mules that follow you around, maybe they just attack you except they have no attack? This way they chase after you but don't hurt you (lets hope).

Roleplay owning a horse on the RPG board....

as for the the others, sitting graphics would be nice, but not yet implementable.

I agree horses are needed to carry weight! i mean although it medievil there is always some progress......as the mines become more scarce etc. there should be easier ways to carry weight!

That's because you are carrying too much compared to your strenght.
Solution: Carry less.

I know i do carry less yet i would like to carry more in one haul so that is why i like the idea of the mule or donky.
