Dagnus steps on Trollsbane soil and looks around. He knew that he had to leave his old home. His old home,the ol mountain, started to collapse. He was one of the lucky ones that made it out alive. Although he thought his cousin didn't. He continues to walk around and look at the busy people pass by. He notices a tavern. This makes him slightly happier. He wanders around until he finds a library. He walks in and hears footsteps coming up the ladder. He sees another dwarf come up and doesn't pay alot of attention. He quickly looks back at the dwarf and nearly chokes. His cousin! Uloim is alive! ULOIM!??! ULOIM!? IS THAT YOU?!!

Uloim looks up, hearing a firmiliar voice. He notices Dagnus, his cousin.

"Dagnus! Can it be? Ye survived the destruction of our home?"

The two talk for a while about their old home, then about a new home for Dagnus. Uloim desides that Dagnus should become a citizen of Silverbrand. Uloim takes Dagnus below the library and gives him a tour of Silverbrand. Dagnus wants to join Silverbrand, so Uloim tells Dagnus he will find Tialdin soon and tell him that Dagnus wants to join. Later that night, after Dagnus leaves Silverbrand to go find a place to sleep, Uloim writes on the Silverbrand walls over Tialdin's bed:

King Tialdin, I, Uloim Ironhammer, found my cousin Dagnus today and he wants to join our beautiful city. He wants to join as soon as possible. Could ye open yer' schedule a little an' let him take his oath to get in? No tour of the city is required.

Uloim leaves Silverbrand and goes to help find Dagnus a sleeping place before he can enter Silverbrand.
