i have gotten a letter that i have been accepted but its been about a week or somewhere around 5 days now. i am not trying to spam the boards but am seeing if maybe something had happened to skip my activation.

Just keep trying to log in, I think it takes around a week for activation nowdays.

It should be max three day's and you will starting to play.

I have the same problem as Meralgor, I recieved an email which said that my account had been accepted and I only had to wait for it to be activated.

That was almost two weeks ago and I still can't log in. I was just going to wait and be patient like everyone recommends, but now that a gamemaster has said it should only be three days I'm wondering if something has gone wrong.

(my character name is also Bjorn Baleyg, if it helps)

Meralgor and I are completely different people, I just posted in his topic beacause I have the same problem and I didn't want to create yet another 'how long' topic on the board. I still can't log in with Bjorn Baleyg, but I don't mind waiting a few more days.

That bites... 2 weeks? I hope it doesnt take me that long... I was only just approved yesterday..so that means.. tomorrow I get to play! (if it only takes three days like it should) I hope I get to play soon... Anyway, poor you

Yeah, it bites like a rabid orc. I've actually been pretty lucky so far, my name and story were both accepted first time, so that process didn't take long. I don't really mind waiting, I just hope that nothing's gone wrong with the account.

If it is an err in the account process, it can be corrected fairly easily, at least they have your story on file. The hard part is if they didnt get your second reply, the one with the story. Then you would have had to rewrite it (unless you were smart enough to save it, I know I wasnt) Anyway, if all of my knowledge of the functionality of mmorpgs is correct, any err on the account process can be fixed with a quick revision of the character database. And, if the coding has any proficiency, they have coded in the necessary tools to do so quickly. =)

Well, I guess it wasn't an error, or somebody heard my whining and took pity on me. I just managed to log in as Bjorn. This is totally cool, even if I have to re-read the manual before I know how to do anything.

Maybe the staff will take pity on us.. maybe not. Anyway...all we can do is sit...and wait........and wait.................and wait........................and wait... Until we go insane or get activated...one of the two.
