You do realise a thieves guild wouldn't be very effective if everyone knew about it...

A theif guild wouldn't be effective anyways, if you were overly active to many people would be on the look-out for you. However... I think that when the bigger map is in, then you could go from one side of the map to the other to steal, and no one would be ready for it... Just my thought.

Yep, you never said that. Why don´t you just wait until your account is aprooved and then ask ingame? That´ll bring you much further and it is much more fun.

You should take a look at other pages of the "guilds" area. There are some posts about a thief guilds. (Page 2)

I am pretty sure there is a thieves guild..in fact I'm quite sure they've been in Illarion for nearly a year. They work through private messages and have secret meetings. I once stumbled on one, and they dispersed effectively without logging off. That's how a thieves guild should be run.

how would a theives work? as the game is you can't just run up and take somthing from someone.

This is a game devoted into roleplaying.
Think.
Say that the one you "thief" roleplays along with you?
It might take time-yes without a doubt but sure but when you get the hang of it. It could be fun and I belive that many would roleplay along. or?

But without gaining anything from "pretending" to steal and them not loosing anything, it quickly looses it's fun.
