How often are accounts accepted?

How many requests are accepted versus rejected? I don't need a number and I don't want to presure the Devs if they feel that this would be a violation of privacy. I'm just wondering. Is it like a 1:1 ratio, or a 2:1 ratio, 1:2? Like I said, I'm just wondering.

Do you mean their story rejected, if you mean names look in the account forum and galdriel's stickies, names rejected vs accepted from the looks are about 10/1. The story acceptance is probobly about the same.

I guess I'm looking at either.

I don't see how 90.901% of people can mess up on their names. That would be...wrong. I find all of this interesting.

Why not? Look at the names of Runescape, -as grobul said- then take a look at Galdriel's few topics that list unnaccepted names.

People can mess up their names pretty easily, since they don't either bother to read the namerules at all or fail to comprehend what the rules say.

About 75 percent of all refused names are those with a small leading letter, such as "gandalf" instead of "Gandalf".

Among the others, the majority has to do with numbers and titles, such as "Gandalf123" and "Mr. Gandalf".

On the following positions we find really unfitting names i.e. "Roy Orbinson", spam-names like "Hacker" and names with slang-meanings like "Cuzudie" and of course we find all types mixed.

The story acceptance is around 30 percent.

i had ALOT of trouble about names in tibia, as they are just as strict

(well, ok, there are some things different eg you can have a title in the name.)

so i took the time and care to come up with the name Glorat. to be honest i got my reply letter in 3 days compared to most people, which is a bit lucky for me :P.
i guess i learnt my lesson in playing other strict like mmorpgs with my names.

however its a first to encounter a RP based rpg. something id love to try out.

Have mercy! You don't have to be that creative..

Thank you for clearing that out for me.

To thank you, I'll put that into good use and start to confuse my counterplayers without any mercy at all.
