What are the keys of Illarion? How do I fight etc...
How do I gather items from the ground?
Is there a method to speak out of character in case of help or emergency?(I know it's against the rules).
How do I speak to NPCs'?
What are the bars beneath the screen?

Try to find the answers ingame.

Keys: Press F1-F5 for a short "manual". I won´t tell you how to fight at first, I hope you´ll never need this key.

Picking up items: Drag&Drop, just like in Windows

Out of character: It´s common to whisper your ooc in douple brackets like this: #w ((This game is perfect!))

NPC´s: You can "use" them (Shift-click), they don´t talk much.

Bars: mana ("spellpoints") & life energy ("hitpoints")

I thought gamemasters were here to help.. Probably I was wrong.

I don´t think we have the Gamemasters, to explain again and again Newbies how to play the game.

I thought we have a Manual for this ( sure the englisch Version isn´t online ), but there are a few other websites, which explain the same content.

Kind of degradation, if the word "help" in illarion means, Gamemasters have to explain shortcuts etc.

Maybe you misunderstood the word "help" Tal Rash?

The schoolteacher have the task to help, as well. But does that mean he must help you to scroll your binder?

If I would be a gamemaster I would sure as hell give more help then that anyway. Atleast a link or two to an Illarion manual(And there is alot of them).

Gamemasters are not here to help with these questions, other players and board mods can do this.

Everyone can do, and the illarion link section on this very page supports some very good hints. Especially look at the "fansites", there's a lot of helpful stuff for new ones.

Normally, i think, if someone is really interested in playing, he may be able to use the time of his application for at least looking at the different pages a bit, or a little closer to the website of the game.
