Yes Damien did meet with Darlok. Yet no news has been reported of the situation. I think Damien left quite quickly.

What's going to happen then!?

The "source" has already been taken to a new tower at the Magic Academy which specializes in studying magic related to the earth and the life energy of the world. Our top researchers are now working from dawn till dusk to study this "source" and find a way to use it to counter the damage that has been done. There is no guarantee that it is possible, but if anyone can do it, it will be them. I am confident that they will have results for us very soon.

All that is left to do now is to wait, and pray for their success or pray for your own comfort.

How are we supposed to have CONFORT if we know not, what of what the source is, only the assumption, for we have no solid proof other then your word that the source has been aquired and is being "Studied"

Yes, pray if you want comfort. I am sure everyone will be more comfortable when the drought is ended. So, basically pray if you want the drought to end.

I am happy to announce that the hard work and perseverance of our researchers has paid off with tremendous progress. Through studying the "source", they have now discovered a possible way to counter the damage that it has done and end the drought The process will be underway and we await to see what happens and hope for good new soon. There is some powerful magic involved, so do not be alarmed if you see unusual weather patterns or other strange changes in the environment at first.

What? Strange weather patterns? That's not right. I'm not sure if you should continue these experiments!

Do you want to die because of the drought? Or would you rather die to trying to fix this problem. I say go for the end of the drought! Go... Magic has proved much to me and I think it can help this island. Do have another choice? Praying to the gods and being hopeless worthless fools. Praying to gods only proves to them that we can't take care of ourselves.

Cowards leave their posts unsigned. And it is only a matter of time before I recognize the handwritting of this unknown writer.
And yes, perhaps Prayer and Magic should be combined to fix this drought. Tho it seems there are religious fanatics and magic fanatics. So the chances of that happening is little.

This is just foolish. Now strangers are saying I make few friends. You don't know anything about me. And yet your not making any sense close to what the subject is. Things have changed since that post. Different arrangements have been made. Concerns very little of you.... Unknown writer. I come from the calm country... But my country has risen to a living hell. Affecting me along with it... Now can we get back to the topic please?

This unsigned person is not even making any sense and is just out to cause trouble, and I bet we can all think of a few people in this town who do that a lot. He contradicts himself when says this is "putting faith in something we dont even know will work" when they actually have the source of the drought to work with, and then suggesting that prayer is far better when it is just another thing we "dont know will work" or else obviously we would have done it long ago already. If he thinks he KNOWS what the gods will do then he is the blasphemer.

First he wants proof of the source and now he wants to stop people from ending the drought. I think this unsigned writer trying to get the source and work against our town somehow.

I have been thinking... Magic... Magic! Magic helps the land become fertile! Helps it become healthy once more! Helps things grow! Yet with all our trees dead... We cannot make more! So prayer then comes into play! Prayer supplys the seeds, and sapplings. Supplys the plants and forests back to once more! We have to tie the two together. Although be careful. It may not work. Just a thought. Now thinking about this. I may help the prayer with a couple hours...
