Nothing's wrong about that, it's just that, well, I personally prefer to run Linux on my home PC, and I want to run things without having to rely on wine. I don't have anything against wine, I just want to run things without an emulator.
Speaking of wine, how does the Win client run under it?
And yeah, I'm one of those who refuse to run XP, the 2 weeks I spent with it still gives me nightmares...

The Win-client is extremely instable on certain hardware-configurations (e.g. mine). It crashes the whole computer after about 3-5 minutes.
Just for example.

What happens exactly?
What hardware are you using? (CPU, mainboard, graphics adapter, ...) Which OS?

Illegal op, followed by a few exeption errors, then a bluescreen of death
running a 600mhz Celeron, with an SIS graphics card (64mb) an Audigy soundblaster soundcard, about 112 mb DDR ram and win98 OS.

This is different from what I experience.
My computer simply freezes, I have to restart it totally afterwards.
