So go find a little fake mmorpg wanna-be to tide you over until you're done being let in-.^ You'll be able to get rid of it and have fun once you have your character^.^

It only took like one week for me. The day they sent me the email saying 'Wait a few days for us to put your account in the game.' I was created!

Once it took me 5 days to be rejected, another time it took me 20 days to be rejected, and the third time I got in, 4 days.

Yes but do you know what you did different the last time, and did you learn from your rejections and understand what is required of you when you play the game?

Um, playing the game now, so I guess I learned from my rejections.
Notice I didn't have a forth time in there, guess it was the GM I got.

Runescape, ah, the game that doesn't rule. Yes I play it, it's a good time-waster for a couple days. But it's not anything above that.
As far as waiting for an account, I registered Saturday I think, applied anyways, And I just got the confirmation saying I was accepted today. And I got a little short questionaire yesterday. No point in rushing, I think the idea is good without a bot, separate the good from the refusal to be good. And make the game a little more exclusive, a little more enjoyable for those who don't wish to be seeing crap like 'U DIE, 4 I R PWRFL!' all over their monitor.

Wow falk, first time ive seen you be evil.
Things to remember about theivery:
being killed for stealing is justified, you should drop the stolen items when you die because you cannot search the dead persons body, therefore bad roleplay to keep them. Don't kill the person your stealing from, don't steal and log. Being a theif in my opinion is one of the most challenging roles to play as there are so many limitations, but one of the most invigerating.

6 posts and he's spamming? come on, give him a chance! He's new to the comunity and it takes some time to get used to the way people here want you to act. Remeber he hasnt been in game before and might not know how different Illarion is compared to most online rpg's.

i might be done with it before i go to bed though.
Any nice things to look foward to in the game?

I didn't take terribly long to write my story; maybe 15 minutes or so. I added another paragraph and it was satisfactory, apparently. I wouldn't take the time to actually compose this gigantic novel based on the topic presented - they're most likely not going to read something overbearingly long and either skim it and not catch the premise, or they'll just ****can it.

Neven is , of course, completly wrong.
When I wrote my Story it took me 3 Days.
I wrote on the first day the basic story, made corrections in spelling and grammar at the second, and added several new lines and twist at the third.
If your Story is long, longer than the averange medicore "I only add some lines up to a paragraph"-Stories, than it only shows me that you want to play this game.
Also you have way greater chances to get into the game even when you made a mistake in your story.
Short stories may be rejected after the first mayor fault, longer stories have of course the chance to make up this mistake.
But this is only my point of view, other Account-GMs might differ.

well thanks for the informaition and by the way i didnt finnish last night and im away from home right now so it will be while longer till im on...but that will just give me longer to think about what to write next.
And im glad to hear the enjoy the longer stories.

Picking on me more are we Keikan? It, as with most games, appears that length surpasses quality. Regaurdless of length, the story was apparently good enough to get me in. And, Keikan, I sense a severe lack of social satisfaction on your part. I'd have that looked into.

And for further support as to my statement.
And as dictated by Diana Hacker, a professional writer.
When sending e-Documents, keep it short and simple unless the recipient's intent is to first print out the document beforehand.
The monitors put a strain on eyes, people tend to read far less into things on a monitor than they do on paper.
Long 'publications' tend to ward people off, people are, by nature, lazy. They'd much rather something that's short and understandable (flows smoothly) rather than some one-hundred page essay that is so in depth and elaborated upon that by then end of a person's paragraph the reader has lost either interest or whatever the messege, to be conveyed by said paragraph, had been.
On my own note, it's pointless to point out that "Neven is, of course, completely wrong." for Neven is not "completely wrong". For one to say such a thing means they have a closed mind, are lacking of any sane thought, or are simply complete and utter morons. Whatever the case, this whole little post has been a waste of both my and the readers' time.
I'll thank you to not show a blatant disregaurd for a person's opinion in the future. At least not towards me.

He is a gm, therefore he is god, if god doesn't like you, you won't play this game anymore. Pure and simple. And accually you are wrong, because a study, does not mean everyone on the face of the earth, polls and studies are generalized, as in, applying to most but not everyone. Professionals are people who get payed to do what they do, I am a professional lawnmower.
They own the server you do not, they have the power, you do not.
