What about a little Collection of Scenerys, that might fit into Illarion.
Once we had some Landscape-Scenerys, which might depict part fo Illarion.

A much better one of my smelter, and one of a hammer striking hot iron and sparks flying. Both are about 30k.

I was thinking maybe the owners of silverbrand might use it or maybe MUCH smaller thing for the manual and such.

AH SO IT IS YOU!!! I have seen the screenshoits and asked many people why some of them come form avernum/Exile. But nobody knew.

Very impressive Gro'bul and Galdriel.

Galadrial, I was in awe when I saw that. It was incredible. Maybe you could use that for the log in place, you know when you first start Illarion up, I think it would make it more interesting as it's pretty bland right now.

Excellent Gro'bul, i knew where it was supposed to be before i read it, so of course that must mean something. Very nice, but i am not a graphic maker... wait for martin to put his 2 cents in......

Not bad, not bad.

But i think the anvils are too chrome like, they schould be darker and not so mirroring, and the furnace is to box-like.

fedaykin is right, a little bit too much chromelike. and i think the shadows ar false too. the shadows of the oven and the bars should be connected.

by Gro'bul
well see it is hard to tell because the furnaces are the things supposedly casting the shadows, so the wouldn't cast shadows on themselves. :) the little shadow of the oven at the base wasn't supposed to be there.

I un-chromed the anvils, redid the fire although the furnace fire still looks the same, unshadowed some things, and flattened the water, noticed the waves. If you want a different resolution just ask.

if something is casting a shadow, it would cast on itself realsticly....

your low poly work is good ( at least I hope thats low poly...)

add some body to the furnaces though, they are a big boxxy, and the textures in some areas could use some work, but its not bad

@Returner What? say that again please I didnt quite get what you meant

Posted: Sat Nov 08, 2003 7:53 pm

I think the shadows of the oven would be distorted because of the fires... Wouldn't they be longer then they are normall ybecause of the fire? I think they would but what do I know?

Anlan, its a bunch of 3d mumbo jumbo that me, and gro'bul, unnerstand ;)

Unfortunately I try to keep it as low poly as possible since it is already laggy to moneuver around in that scene, unfortunately I don't have my video card yet. radeon 8500 64mb ddr for 10 bucks at christmas, friend is getting a new one so he's selling me his old.

Since all of you hated my blocky furnace, I made a new one and redid the shadows. I think I'm going to re-light the first scene.
