Enduring Change

This is for those who do not read the Home Page:

Nothing is more constant than enduring change-written by Galdriel on 07/22/2003 04:26am

Under this principle we try to develop Illarion. Many changes remain in darkness and stay unnoticed by the community. In the near future we are going to make several small changes, that will be noticed by the players. Right now Illarion still is in its development-(alpha)-phase. So before you ask on the forum tomorrow, why this and that does not work or is working differently than before, try to clear this up within the game. Also the current draught leaves its obvious traces. It is up to you, to find out which destiny the gods have in mind for Illarion.

I would just like to thank the new GMs, for taking an active interest in the game. I would also like to enquire?

Will you persist with this envigoured interest, or will you leave the game, dead in the water, later on?

I also praise the GM's for their work. Keep it up ya'all, your making it more and more fun, and those who like to gripe about the changes, there are other games you are more than free to go play.

I totally love the idea of getting magic books out of the store! Good job! Finally.
Now, will that be a first omen of a quest system coming???

#me stumbles through the streets weeping that Irmorom took the secret of smithing fireswords from the mortals.

I would like to congratulate the GMs to the changes. Finally you wont see anyone smithing in the countryside without an anvil. That magic wands and fireswords are rare items now is a good idea, it was rather strange to see people giving them away as a present to newcomers. That crafting goods got more difficult now will let the craftsmen value their goods more thereby balancing the whole economy.

hehe HAgen, I got two fire swords, remember you gave me 1 hehe. Hm, so what else is different? You have to smith on an anvil? What about carpentry?

All of my characters have at least one firesword  . But people go, and so do their items eventually, within time.

But anyway, the only change I complain about is the "dropping mortar," but other than that, good ideas.

Hm...can you no longer make shovels or hammers when you smith? Should we always be forced to go to the shop or something...?

You still can craft Shovels, Hammers and all that neat Stuff you can pick from.
But our new Features force you to think abit more complex if you realy want to make them.

You may also ask a Smith InGame, but please dont spoil the knowleadge on the Boards.

Will wine brewery ever be implemented? The barrels are there, but what is their use?

Wine Brewery is not a nessecity, but when the game in nearly finished in Alpha, it would be a finishing touch, good for parties, get togethers, and just to get your character drunk.

Wine enhances bravery, but lowers intelligence
