My irritating scenario...

A particular orc came up to me as I was speaking with somebody, and pushed me around. I told him not to do that, or I would draw my blade. He claimed that if I did so, he would kill me. I asked for a duel, and he insisted that I approached first. I did so, and came out victorious. Then he says ((Ah, powergamers these days.....))...in my defense, I said I was NOT a powergamer, and practiced a reasonable amount of time during the day (the same amount of time in which an average smith practices his craft) and I'm STILL called a powergamer. He is a friend of a seemingly "newbie" orc that is also a full fledged demon killer...heck, the best beast I can take down without taking blows are skeletons and orcs!

So, does anybody here think it's unfair that an orc challenges me to a duel, calls me a powergamer because I beat him, yet doesn't pay attention to the fact that one of his friends with a number close to mine can kill DEMONS?

I believe it was Muten that said "It seems you can only be called a powergamer if you're a good fighter, but nobody ever calls a blacksmith that."

I believe I had an encounter with a same orc, a group of orcs actually, and defeated them also.

how long is a "Reasonable amount of time" ?

to some people a resonable time is 12 hours a day. I myself has immediately changed my ways after i got accused of powergamming. I was just miss informed on what was actually powergamming at the time. but standing at one spot killing zombie after zombie for two hours must be powergamming (plus when i kill zombies I got an excuse, I take care of zombie overpopulation )
