At the moment, it is impossible to play or even to create a character because the actual server is hanging. In this case, the last people online are shown as "online", while in fact they are not - the program hangs. The status screen simply shows "online". This is not true.

I have no idea when someone will be able to restart the server. For this, it must be approached physically - and both who were able to do that, cannot reach it at the moment. So this problem may exist for a short time.

Be patient and watch for a different status number than 31 people online. In the meantime, lok through the background story page and have fun on the boards.

If you do not know the Server Rules, be SURE to read them closely ! Your Character may be deleted without warning if you violate them. In this case, the Client will say "Character does not exist" or something like that when you're trying to get in, so YOU'RE NOT DELETED if you cannot log in at the moment ( read above, Server hanging ).

they are cleaning it i guess.

It isn't usually down alot, but recently it is this business of getting the new server up and running...

There is no need to reach the server physicaly (well, there is: the electrons in the cable must reach the destination, but even they are not the same as I move into the cable at my home).

Well, in case you havent noticed, this game is still in the alpha phase.  Negative things like server crashes and other glitches are just simple facts of life when playing such a game.  It was a mistake for me to have ever put up the "Something's Missing..." thread.  Complaining and repeatedly pointing out the same problem simply will not solve any problems.  The only real use for such posts is to help inform people about what is going on.

I think this game will stay in the Alpha Stage. That's what Bror said one time. And I think this really is the best.
Beta means finished, so no "big" changes, only bugfixing etc. This is kind of boring, don't you think so!?

Maybe boring, but at least it is stable.
