Illarion doesn't run on my screen resoloution, which is 800x600. Is there anyway to change this, or fix it? Or will I have to buy a new monitor/graphics card or something.. >.<

[N.B. I had the same problem with Windows too. But to fix it I had to change the screen Res. down from 1024x768 to 800x600 and it worked fine. So is there any way to change Illarion's screen res?]

Here's my system spec:

Microsoft XP professional
2.40 GHz Pentium 4
256 RAM
Direct X 8.1
ATI Rage XL PCI
800x600 (32bit) (60 hertz)

Illarion is a fullscreen game, which changes the resolution by itself (*click* *click* sound from your monitor).
You cannot change the resolution for the game in anyway, if your monitor does not support 1024x768 you wont be able to play the game.

For furter informations you should have useed the helpful "search function" of this Board.

Please read this.

I didn't notice any *click* sounds though. I simply got a black screen with a blurred white line across the screen - which I guess must've been the cursor.

Mr friend had that problem with his Windows to, so I'll guess I'll get anew monitor (I need one anyway).

Thanks.

Illarion always runs at 1024 x 768.
Your computer should AUTOMATICALLY switch to that resolution.
Every monitor bigger than 14" SHOULD be able to show it.
Your monitor, if not ten years old, SHOULD be able to show 1024 x 768.
Perhaps configure frequency stuff.
