The Letter to Alun.

Alice sits in the library unaware of whatever Malinne and LĂșthien are talking about. They aren't talking to her anyway she figures, so she begins to write a letter:
Dear Alun,
I am going away. I do not know how long I will be gone for. I'm going with Malinne, Cain and this elf lady named LĂșthien. Malinne has been summoned by someone she used to know and she decided to take me with her. She is going to help me find my family and my home.
I would have told you this in person or wrote a letter just to you, but I wasn't sure if I would get to see you before I leave, and I couldn't just trust anyone to hand you this letter, so I'm posting it on the wall.
You are my favorite person on this island. You are kind and handsome and you're not that much older than me. It has been so nice knowing you and I'm glad I met you. I wish you luck while I am away and forever afterward. Thank you for being such a good friend.
I promise I will return to this island. It has become my new home. I only wish to return to my old home temporarily to find out if my father and my sisters are still alive. I have a bad feeling, but I still want to find out anyway.
I may or may not be gone by the time you read my letter, let alone correspond. I'll check the wall again before I leave just in case. I'll be in the library most of the time until we depart in the morning. I do have a feeling it may be postponed another day though. Don't ask me why.
I just want to let you know that I've fallen in love with you since I first met you. I hesitate to confess this to you because I didn't want to make my departure any harder than it already is. I also hope I'm not embarassing you by making this message public. I put it towards the end of the letter in hopes that people would get bored of reading this letter and stop reading before they get to that point. I can only hope my strategy works, I really don't want to embarass you.
Well, anyways, I'll miss you very much. I will tell you all about my voyage when I get back. Wish me luck, I'll need it.
I love you!
