It is a note stating the following

Greetings. Been a while since I ever talked to anyone of this island. I hope to be back soon. You may be wondering what happened to me. Great amounts of good things have happened in the passing. I hope I can fit in well back to where I was. Well I must be going. The fools that run this boat need me. Sorry about this.

Freo walks along the beach, and sees something falling from the sky. It is a note, dropped by the bird overhead. Upon reading it, Freo grins slightly.

"So Kasume returns..." Freo says to himself, "I was wondering what happened to him, none the less, I will be sure to greet him"

Freo takes the note to the town boards, and posts it their, feeling that would be the best place for it. Than walks away, into the deepest parts of the forest.
