it would be cool if you can tame a couple of (diferent) animals to ride or to help you with killing

I like it, dreams of having a pig kill a demon. Anyway it would be a cool thing and maybe it could be a skill that you would have to work on. Like an animal taming skill.

but his proposal was to use them for fighting, not to raise pigs for money.

It would probably be best to wait until you are actually in game until you post in the rpg, guild, or proposal forums. It's hard to make a proposal unless you have actually played.

It is a valid Proposal, a Proposal that has already been discussed amog the Players.
Taming/Rising Animals, either for the Gain of Money or as a assistance in a Fight (I personaly would reject such idea) is basicly the same.

Just leave him alone he didnt know that it was already posted so just say if it is a good proposal or not, add hints when neccessary and get off his back.

pss. sorry for going off topic but maybe having trained animals would be helpfull like sheep could get in the way of some attacks or bite what ever creature is attacking you or like butchers/hunters could taim sheep to stay in one area and just go there to kill them or sheer them.
