If theres Blacksmithing and glassblowing and all that stuff, why cant there be cooking? Think about it, you can combine different foods to make a meal, like combining cherries, and ingredients for bread for a cherry pie or combining redicculus or descusting items with food, like combining zombie insides with ham to make festering stuffed ham for orcs!

There is cooking, in a sense. Its more baking, but that would fall under cooking

Well baking only involves the same ingredients for different food. Im saying to add different ingredients to that or combine different ones to make a whole new food, like a certain chemistry of some sort.

I think they would do that anyways, but long-term. Right now I think they are more concerned with other things, such as a map editor so we can make houses, or a new combat system. Of course I could be wrong..

The english version of the To-Do list really isnt something you should go by, concidering that they really dont update the english version of the site too often. Plus, just because its there, it dosent mean they are doing it just yet. So really you DONT know what they are doing right now, because we havent been told.
