so here i am playing this game ive come to love for its story building
, and role playing. When a DM by the name of "Latharan Caine" comes
along and inturupts my characters work. As soon as i #intro him I get
the third degree about character names and how mine is unapropriate
, this name i might add belongs to an Orc, who was rightfully named
"Killgore" by his father, who named him because for when his son
killed, enemy or creature, he left nothing to the imagination that whatever
this dead thing once was in life, was nothing more now than a piece
of meat. Anyways this supposed DM said i might get deleted because
this name was not Orcish i think it is and he just had too much time on
his hands, where was he yesterday when i was pk'ed three times
by the same character? So what should i do, should i change this name
or let it live? Any comment would be helpfull!

Try asking to change your name, if you are serious about roleplaying, you can try:
Uthruk Killgore, Urgrug Killgore, Mer'Kran Killgore, Barlog Killgore...
It took me about 15-20 seconds to think and type all those...
I am sure if you don't like mine you can think of another very fast.
Err, who to mail, theres the question. Well, tell Latharan, he will tell you from there :biggrin:

will i still be able to use the same character or will i have to start over?
and who should i email about changing this name if i can?

GMs regulary check the online lists for unmatching names. Yesterday,  "son of mom", "Son of Dad", and "killgore" were the most "unfitting" names. The other both have been "visited" before you.

Just change your name to Kilgor or somthn......
Thats orcish and you can still have the reason for your name

I Messaged gods@illarion.de to have the name changed to
"Kilgor Uthruk" Hows that sound? I like it! By the way thanks
to everyone for the ideas and info.
